We enjoyed another good overnight stay at the Executive (we must have been there more on more than a dozen occasions now over 8 years). Rooms have been equipped with new flat screen TVs, which have a limited range of stations. Breakfast was adequate (though not quite as good as on some previous visits since the range on offer was more limited). Our room was pleasant and the bathrooms are excellent, but the bedroom was showing signs that it would benefit for a coat of paint!

Whether for an overnight stop or a longer stay the Executive is a real "find". The service is excellent, the rooms spotlessly clean and overall we cannot fault it.

Very modern, quiet, exellent breakfast. All in all a very nice hotel. Best of all is the price. Good restarants near the hotel. I will definately come again, next time I am arriving by car to Bergamo.

We travelled with friends. Breakfast on the first morning was excellent with great choices. Thereafter it was nothing special, choice was poor even although we usually got to the breakfast room around 9.20 and breakfast was served until 10-one morning no more bread or coissants-very poor. Having said all that we would certainly use the hotel again. The bus service into Bergamo was excellent if you did'nt wish to use the car all the time and for a taxi it was around 24 euros.

A little difficult to find but following other users comments it was no problem. We arrived late, just before 1am, but staff very helpful and welcoming, showed us to our rooms and where everything was, breakfast arrangements, etc. As value for money on an overnight stop, it cannot be faulted. Only possible complaint would be road noise - unusually high for a single carriageway A road - but if you keep the windows closed it's barely noticeable.

It is a little bit difficult to find it, make sure you are clear about it before you drive you car. Hotel is beautiful, clean and breakfast is very good. We like so much this hotel, and we recomment it. We think that it is the best hotel that we stayed in north of Italy.

Keep up the good work at The Executive - one of the great little hotels of the world. We head for this exceptional hotel every time we are in the Bergamo area because of its excetional value for money... including a wonderful breakfast. Sometimes I have found the Venere site is reluctant to offer rooms at the Executive, possibly for teachnical reasons. Finding the Executive's own website can be difficult on Google etc (try it!)... so here is the web address: http://www.executive-hotel.it/ing/homeflash.htm *One point that may be helpful. Few restaurants open before 7pm in the Bergamo area. But we found that the Abbazia (just down the road from the hotel) opens at 6pm. Excellent food and service await.

Having overnighed at the Executive before we decided to spend four nights there in a "proper holiday". The hotel and its staff - an the truly excellent breakfasts - did not disappoint. It is worth asking for a room at the back to avoid traffic noise from the busy road to Lovere at the front, but otherwise the hotel is just about perfect. We hope to go back again!

As a couple travelling on from Bergamo, the Executive was an excellent choice for both location and value. The hotel is of a very high standard and the only small gripe I have is that the breakfact was poor.

The directions from the airport given by previous guests are essential to find this hotel quickly. It takes about 10 to 15 mins from the airport. The dual carriageway mentioned, reduces to single before the roundabout, and the small sign for the hotel is on the right about 1/4 mile after the roundabout. We arrived at around 7pm, this is a good stop over location for the first night if you're visiting the lakes area. Although designed more for the business user we were very pleased with the hotel, and booked it again for the night before our return flight. The Hotels catering is very limited, but there is an excellent restaurant called Abbazia about 300 yards further East on the other side of the road.

It was our first stay in San Paolo D'Argon and the receptionist was available to welcome us at 23:30. We got lost enroute to the hotel as we were disoriented by the drive from the airport to the car pick up station. Room 112 was clean and practical and had all that we needed for a holiday sojourn. The staff were very friendly and helpful: the lady who served us breakfast and the male receptionost showed a genuine interest in our day to day visits to the surrounding areas. The other vacationers were equally friendly. Dogs should not be allowed into the dining room. Perhaps the hotel was still new to provide all other facilities such as half board, swimming pool, tennis court. I expect these are in the pipeline. On the whole it was a very pleasanr stay at the Executive. p.s. I left a pair of eveing sandals at the hotel. How do I get them back?

Excellent hotel, superb breakfast. Don't miss out on exploring Bergamo... and if you have a couple of hours to spare you could do worse than "Bowling Gorlago" a little modern bowling alley about 10 minutes away on the main road in the village of Gorlago.

Our fourth time at the Executive... and they have yet to let us down! Even though the hotel was quite busy the staff remained very professional and courteous and the "continental breakfast" was, as ever, superb. When we first stayed at the Executive we had a little problem finding it but, really it's very simply. From the airport all you have to do is to follow first the Bergamo signs and then the signs for Lovere. This takes you onto a dual carriagway that deposits you at a roundabout (still follow Lovere sign) and the turn off for the hotel is 300 yards from there on the right. You then follow the small signs for the Hotel Executive.

This hotel is excellent value for money and probably the best at the price in the Bergamo area. The rooms of spotless and the breakfast really excellent. We stayed two nights in an apartment separate from the modern main building across the ample car park. The rooms were very spacious but lacked tea and coffee making facilites or a fridge. There was also some traffic noice from the busy SS42 that runs 20 yards away. (Tip: If staying in the apartment block, ask for a room away from the road). On our return journey we stayed one night in a room of the hotel and it too was very spacious, withouth the traffic noise. Perfectionists might not like the view from the rear bedroom windows accross fields and an industrial estate, to the hills beyond... or the huge electricity pilon that towers alongside the hotel right outside the entrance to the car park. But these are minor problems and we can hardly wait to visit again. The Executive and its polite and friendly staff deserve a four star rating! CJ

Hotel in a residential area not far away from the bergamo airport. Type of business hotel, new built, beautiful architecture, bright, nice equipped and large rooms. Plenty of parking-lots! Perfect stay! GPS-Data: N 45°41'06 E 09°48'04

Excellent value for money for overnight stay... or possibly longer. It proved a little difficult to find, so best to make sure of a map or directions before setting off. A little too far out of the city, unless you are in a car.
