I was travelling with my mother. This hotel was a great buy for the money with fairly spacious and quiet rooms, especially for Italy. The hallways were really wide with beautiful antiques. The ONLY thing I didn't like was that it wasn't in the center of San Marino. When I searched this town/republic, this hotel appeared. It was only a 15 minute ride to the town though. Luckily, our stay there was one night so we just drove up to the top of San Marino when we checked out and parked for the day enjoying "Centro". There was absolutely nothing to do around the hotel but luckily there was a restaurant IN the hotel which was okay....not great food but good enough. The people were very nice and it had an adequate gym to work out in. That was a nice surprise. The town was adorable and the prices were much better than in the rest of Italy due to less taxes charged there. I was happy to finally visit San Marino!

We had a rough stay in this hotel since they were doing a reconstruction, and on a sunday morning, the construction started at 8 am and abated only after a phone call to the front desk and persuasive conversation. The hotel is under renovation, and I would advise waiting for the completion of the construction. For those traveling to San Marino, this hotel is good only if you decide to take the lift up to the historic city. There is good parking, and the amenities will be pretty good as soon as they finish the job
