Due to my husband's health problem, the owner personally went out of his way to provide food adapted for his condition. It is a great family run accomodation which exceeded our expectations

Our 3 night stay at the hotel was excellent ,no complaints at all. The staff were very friendly ,professional and helpful, especially the managers. The rooms were spotless ,including the bathrooms. We had dinner in the restaurant during our stay and it was by far the best meal and service we experienced in San Giovanni. The location is excellent also. I would highly recommend it and would return if I visit again.

A nice clean welcoming hotel, good value for money, however further from the sanctuary than specified. It is a 15 minute walk if you take the shortcut, not very long, but perhaps not ideal if you are elderly. Ask at the desk for a map, staff were quite helpful. The staff seemed surprised that we did not have a car. The hotel has its own restaurant which serves lunch and dinner. We had lunch one day and the second course was not impressive - a massive lump of cheese on a plate! The standard of english of the staff is not great and some italian would help your stay. Rooms were big for Italy although the tv was small and there were no english channels. Breakfast was typical for an italian hotel but come early if you want some choice. Sweet croissants, cake, orange juice. Some cereals or bread and cheese were missed. Nothing major to complain about, but nothing particularly memorable or special about this hotel.

As a solo traveler, the owners of La Solaria made me feel at home. The place is very clean and nice. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

Very nice hotel, family run and very welcoming. Towels in the room are more like tea towels rather than bath towels, and there is no fridge in the bedrooms (we had 2, no fridge in either). Although the breakfast is continental, a toaster would have been appreciated.

Always a treat to stay here. Linda and her husband go out of their way to accomodate and make everyone feel welcome. They arranged our trip to Mont Sant'Angelo and had a great driver take us and narate a little on the trip.

One of our best lodging experience in Italy. Great hospitality, beautiful decoration, new building, cleanliness and safety. Ideal for families with children and people who looks for relaxed and peaceful vacations.
