Very close to the town might have been a bit of a walk. Easy parking at town 2 Euros per hour was fair to be close by. Excellent signage to locate Great food at restaurant breakfast was fantistic with fresh COFFEE will stay again and highly reccomend. Joseph Aceto

the breakfast is extraordinary excellent. the tv channel in german language is only with additional cost possible also the channel in english language.the air conditioner is only in a spezified time working, otherwise you have to ask at the reception desk.

Every time we go to Tuscany we stay in Hotel Sovestro. The town of San Gimignano can be easily reached by foot (30 minutes walk on the old street). Also the restaurant can be recomended very much.

A healthy walk up into San Giminiano awaits those who do not want to drive. The front of the Hotel is facing the main road and therefor rooms are quite noisy untill quite late at night and early in the mornings. Nice swimming pool area, good selection at breakfast, but probably the worst continental coffee I have ever tasted! The daytime facilities appear to be lacking and could do with a bar facility for the evening. The restaraunt was ok provided you are not vegitarian, however it seemed very expensive for the overall experience and quality. It certainly made the hike up to the town very worth while where the quality of the food (and drink) seemed to be higher and of better value. I would stay here again, but only if I couldn't find an alternative in the area!
