Town House Motel - San Francisco

My request for a non-smoking room was never received, and the hotel parking was overly crowded and unsecured. Room not very clean either. It was cheap, so my suspicion is they gave us the worst room they had. Great area to stay in, but there are plenty of hotels there. My advice to travelers thinking about it (unless you're a smoker)- pay the $20 more a night and go to the Coventry up the street- a MUCH better deal and more dependable!

The staff was anything but helpful. We had a problem with our key and the man at the front desk seemed very put out to help us. He was able to get it to work (I'm sure he had practice) but we were not. He finally replaced it which is what he should have done in the beginning. While it was nice to have free parking, it was a very small area that was difficult to get in and out of. The room was clean but small and very old. As far as location it was a pretty good walk to any attractions or restaurants, but we decided to keep our parking spot and walk everywhere since parking is so difficult in SF. It did come with a refrigerator which was a plus for us. Continental breakfast was muffins, some fruit and coffee with little choices. Basically we got what we payed for (almost) Next time I would be willing to pay more for a better hotel.

Hotel manager left the least desirable room ( noisiest) to the Venere customer because of the price arrangement he had made. The room it self was great but it was right on a very busy street and so very very noisy. Good location though and yummy muffins for included breakfast. From experience, hotel staff tend to treat people who get a deal on line, with less consideration and respect! But Venere finds good hotels in good locations. Thank you.

Hotel in posizione comoda. Ambiente e personale accogliente e disponibile. Adatto per chi vuole trascorrere qualche giorno a San Francisco.

The room was cleaned every day and it smelt very good even if we smoked inside. We appreciated the possibility to have a simple breakfast(muffin and orange juice) before going out in the morning. Good correspondence between web pages and actuel property. Thank you.
