I thought this hotel overall was great!One issue on Saturday morning we left our room at 11:00 am to come down and have breakfast the Meritage restuarant had just closed at 11:00am, the other restuarant did not open till 11:30 am, we had to check out at 12:00 pm ,when I stay at a hotel of this quality I expect to find a meal at almost any time of the day!

I was quite supprised at the extra separate charges of $24 per day to park the car and another $24 per day "resort fee", aasuming you might use the internet connection or the pool etc. The hotel also charged me $8 for a bottle of water that was on the nightstand with no indication it wasn't complimentary. When I called them about the add on to my bill after I had checked out they offered no explaination other than housekeeping should have had a tag on it saying it was for sale and no offer to take the charge away. Also, when we returned to the hotel after dinner out at about 10 PM, there was a very loud and profane group of people near the front entrance who obviously had been in the bar and the hotel staff which were within feet of them did nothing to quiet them. Seemed very out of place for a hotel of this quality and was pretty offensive. Upon checking out it took over half an hour to get a bellman, since they only had 1 on duty for the entire hotel.
