Millwood Inn & Suites - Millbrae, San Francisco

Standardization is great - but there is a huge gap between the $39 basic property and the $400 luxury hotel. The Millwood fits that gap nicely, with finely appointed rooms, impeccably clean, well-maintained, quiet, close to SFO airport, free WiFi, etc. It doesn't have a spa or other luxury amenities, but it will be the first place I'll want to stop if I happen to be in San Francisco overnight.

I didn`t stay at Hotel Millwood inn because you, venere.com gave the hotel wrong info so it wasn`t booked. They tried to call you but you just told them to call back after the weekend. Then it was to late. If it wasn`t for the hotel manager I would have stayed on the street. He arranged a rom for me at another hotel.

We stayed in a double queen room with an extra the extra with bed (rm 102 or 103- dont remember). Everything was great as far as cleanliness and quality, however the bed closest to the bathroom was too close to the wall and bathroom door so if you had to use the bathroom late at night, you might hit the bed as you walk through and wake up who ever is sleeping on it. Also, the end of the bed was too close to the wall with the long mirror so you couldnt really stand back to look at the mirror if you wanted to, but you can still see your self from head to toe. Another thing we noticed is the pressing iron. It was on the other side of the bed (the one closest to the bathroom) as mentioned earlier, too close to the wall and you have to maneuver around the bed in order to use it and check up on the clothing you put in there. I rated the quality of the queitness of the hotel @ 5 because early in the morning (around 7am) construction was in the process for the property on the other side of the hotel.
