Hotel is clearly overpriced during the off season. Indoor pool was not filled correctly and could not be used. Dining room staff is cordial, but food is overpriced.

Hotel Punta Rossa is located in a very nice section of the coast within 1 1/2 hours of driving distance to Rome. All rooms have a fabulous view of the sea BUT we thought it was definitely worth the extra money to book a suite, all of which have much larger decks than the rooms and are very spacious inside. We stayed in suite #218 which has a big deck that hangs out over the sea and also has a view of the saltwater swimming pool. We highly recommend this suite if you like being close to the water. The hotel restaurant has fabulous food, great service and of course fantastic views. All employees at the hotel were very friendly and helpful with everything from directions to suggestions on things to do.

We really enjoyed our stay at Punta Rossa. The restaurant was excellent, which was vital given that the hotel was further from San Felice Circeo than we had been told. There was no public transport to the hotel, nor did the hotel run any kind of bus transfer service into San Felice Circeo. We did not have a car with us, and as the taxi fare into town is 15 Euros each way, we were glad that the restaurant was so good because we were a bit stranded in the evening. If you are staying at this hotel, I would say it is vital to have a car. The hotel is beautiful and staff in the restaurant were very welcoming and pleasant. The reception staff were not as accommodating, and were not particularly keen to help. I certainly found this to be a disappointment in a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is more beautiful than the pictures show. The food is superb, the staff extraordinarily kind and efficient. We had a wonderful stay. One note for families with small children: there is no suitable swimming place for children under 10.
