For the location, the price was perfect. The location of the hotel was outstanding, was within walking distances to many shops, restuarants, and sights. The quiteness was the only downfall, but that is not the hotel's fault; it is located by a very busy intersection.

A bit of a rough beginning, but then OK. The problems were: 1. The first room we were assigned had no refrigerator and no microwave, and the window wouldn't lock. I asked to be reassigned. 2nd roomn was better. 2. A/C in second room only blew air, not cold. 3. I was surprised at how high the "tax" was on the room bill estimate was -- about 15% -- but was told that was the amount. I asked a different desk clerk the next day. He much better explained I was being charged for water bottles and the room safe! I didn't ask for these and didn't use. He said I could decline them (now that I knew about them). Not an honest way to do business. I did decline and they were removed. 4. The rest was good for our 6-day stay.

The Marina Inn & Suites is pleased to provide you with 29 convenient and affordable newly remodeled guestrooms to fit your needs.Far more cozy then typical hotel rooms, all accommodations feature a private bathroom with bathtub/shower, 25" cable TV with HBO/ESPN, alarm clock/radio, direct dial telephone, in-room coffee/tea maker, computer data port, writing desk, climate control (air-conditioning/heating) and mini safe. Some rooms also have a balcony and most rooms offer bay views.
Baby cribs, rollaway beds, irons & ironing boards and hairdryers are optional features provided upon request and subject to availability.
If you have a large family or huge group, you will feel right at home in the spacious suites, all of which include microwaves and refrigerators.
You can also ask for non-smoking accommodations.

Exit at Front Street. Turn right and go 2 blocks to Cedar Street. Then turn right again and travel 8 blocks to Pacific Highway. Turn right, the hotel is one block ahead.
From Interstate 5 Northbound.
Exit at Hawthorne Street. Proceed 4 blocks to Kettner Street. Turn left and go 5 blocks to Cedar Street. Turn right again and travel one block to Pacific Highway. Turn right and go one block to the hotel.
