Hotel Marconi - San Benedetto del Tronto

Good hotel,quiet in street not directly on beach,beach facilities and restaurant on beach are good.adress as mentioned on reservation is not complete as mentioned as maffei instead of clara maffei and though untraceable on GPS

We were travelling to puglia and we made a stop in the middle of our trip.People of Marconi was wery kind and professsional

I have been to the resort before, but just for day trips from other parts of Le Marche. It is a very Italian resort and we were the only non-Italians in the hotel. We were made to feel very, very welcome and the hotel staff were very helpful with our four and one year old. We ended up having half-board in the hotel-no charge of the children's meals. Many of the families were on full board. Though there was not a wide selection of meals available and the time was set (8pm), the food came quickly and there were lots of other families trying to encourage their tired youngsters to eat. The pool area and terrace were lovely. There were bikes and games to play and a noisy disco on the Friday night! Lounger costs are included in the price of the larger rooms, and the Marconi bar on the front (at 69) is helpful and friendly, though we were moved lounger on one day, just after we were settled down. Tip-try Bossa Nova at concession 79 on the beach for great seafood and a helpful English chap for the English speakers.

Price high for the hotel, not in front of the sea. Room, welcoming were ok. Only the breakfast was really poor. Coffee or tea served by machines with a terrible noise and you have to wait your turn. Poor offer: no fruit, during a 11 days trip this was the bad breakfast we have found in 11 hotels!

Un Albergo valido, gradevole e recentemente rinnovato a due passi dalla spiaggia con ottimi servizi ( persino affitto bici gratis ) per la categoria e il prezzo. Anche i pasti sono semplici ma di buona qualità e il pesce è sempre presente tra le scelte. I titolari sono gentili.

The staff was very nice and often went out of their way to help us. The view was beautiful, and the room very comfortable. The food was also very good.

We loved this hotel. The owner was charming and very welcoming, all the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms overlooked the sea and the location of the hotel was perfect. The only problem was that it rained and rained - not in any way the fault of the hotel! I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an authentic italian holiday experience.

We had a marvelous holiday at the Marconi. The staff could not have been more helpful, the food was very good & the bedrooms, although fairly basic, were clean & tidy with plenty of storage space. Anyone thinking of travelling to the area or using this hotel will need to be able to speak some italian. There are very few British visitors & therefore very little english is spoken
