I got a great price on this hotel. The location and room were both excellent. My only complaint would be with the staff. They took nearly 20 minutes to check me in and I overheard two separate patrons complain about their inability to manage their system. One couldn't check out before midnight and was told the staff at 4.00 AM wouldn't be more competent. The other requested non-smoking rooms and watched as the staff placed me in one of two adjoining open rooms. Finally, I called a taxi from my room, had the desk check its status ("should be here soon"), then waited 30 minutes until a taxi dropping off guests agreed to take my fare.

The breakfast provided was lacking in choices. The room was located right by the pool and we had no children with us and it was quite noisy. The cookies provided were delicious. The people behind the counter tried to help us. Some of them were not as knowledgeable as others. We might stay there again but the hotel was not as close to things on the river walk as we thought.

Usually stay at another hotel directly on the Riverwalk which is too loud at night. Enjoyed the location of this hotel. The only 'shortcoming' was that we wanted late coffee/dessert (9:30pm)and the Java shop was closed and there wasn't anything nearby. Very minor. We would stay here again.
