This is fantastic Hotel for the price. It is clean and very close to the ocean. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff and the room attendants. They were truly outstanding. Lola, their main receptionist helped us out by taking time after her work hours to escort us to the other side of the island to find parts of my family as I was working out my genealogy. I showed her an old picture and she recognized the house and reunited me with a group of relatives that I didn´t know existed. The owners are also outstanding and very available to assist with the needs of their guests. They are very personable and avail themselves every day to check in specifics of their guests needs. This hotel is outstanding in every way. I highly recommend them to each and everyone of you. They are very accomodating and never fail to remember you should you choose to return, as we have!

The hotel is ugly and uncomfortable. Its on top of shops in a noisy street trade. There are no lift, no staff to help, and we have to carry our bags up the stairs. The breakfast is very poor, weak. Every day the same thing and limited units. It has not a buffet /self-service. The air conditioning is central and we can not control within the room. As the bedding cloth is bad, its cold at night and we had to sleep with warm clothes we used in Bogota. In fact, he seems like a hostel and is priced like a 4 star hotel. It would have been better to stay in a hostel, and do not expect great benefits and became satisfied anyway. The bathroom is old and cleaning is poor. There mold between the tiles, an old bathtub and a curtain also old and dirty. Finally, for the price they charge, the hotel is horrible! Prefer the Casa Blanca and Decameron Los Delfines / Aquarium ...Or even a hostel. Think about it.

This was supposed to be relaxation after a long business trip. Unfortunately our stay was inconvenienced by several things. One, our room flooded daily. Two, the staff allowed workers to chisel tile in the room next to ours during the early morning hours. The staff did not notify us when cold water was not available, we learned it on our own. We really felt that at least one night compensation was fair for everything we had to deal with. The owner was contacted but offered a future stay. Not much help, considering we are not coming back. The right thing to do was to comp one night, that's good business. Neat place, but our we didn't get much rest, slipped on the floor, and the bathroom windows are see through to the hallway. So, be careful - the rooms that face the main street are very noisy. Owners will not refund for any inconvenience. Could be a great place to stay, but they need to get squared away. Lola and staff are very nice.
