Schwärzler Hotel Neutor - Salzburg

The location was excellent, only a few minutes to the old town. The hotel is spread across two buildings on either side of the street. The room we got was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom however had a little mold, and was not sparkling as such. It was still quite clean. The breakfast spread was quite large, and very nice. The free WiFi wasn't particularly fast but was adequate. The only negative about the room concerns the bed. Although stated as a double bed, the room actually had a double bed frame with two single mattresses. Apart from this, the room was good.

Helpful staff. Great location. We didn't like the poor cleanliness of the room and the parking - too small.

Ideal location. Very helpful and competent staff. Don't mind staying here again. Minor criticisms, the carpet floor in our room in my opinion is well beyond their useful life and new pillows for the rooms.

Our room was over a bar/ night club and the noise was terrible most of the night. People outside the bar yelling and screaming. It was one of the worst nights that I've ever experienced. The hotel and staff were wonderful, but I paid for a bed to sleep in and did not receive it.

As everything in Salzburg the hotel was very stylish. Nice room with a welcome flower. 5 min walk from the hart of the town. Delicious breakfast. Free parking behind the hotel. Free wifi. It was an amazing experience staying there.

Excellent value, very conveniently located near sights, nice breakfast. Room got very warm (no A/C) on a particularly warm day in Salzburg, bit noisy street, but value is well worth it if those are not concerns.

Very near the main attractions of Salzburg, this hotel is recommendable for those who are not planning to spend much time indoors but rather exploring the beautiful city of Salzburg. Good price though

Great location! A 4 minute walk right into the heart of Salzburg.

La posizione è davvero ottima,veramente centrale e il personale è veramente molto gentile.La colazione, a buffet, è ottima e abbondante. L'unico cosa è che non si può proprio dire che la stanza era di un hotel 4 stelle: 3 stelle ...forse! Comunque pulito. Se tornassi più di una notte cercherei un'altra sistemazione.

Hotel is very central (a few minute walk passing through a tunnel under Monchsberg) and clean. Friendly staff (speaking Italian very well!)and very good continental breakfast.Our room was 611(in the main building on the 8th of Neutor Strasse): small but well furnished and a clean bathroom with shower quite large. The look of the hotel is modern design.
