We were very happy with our stay. The room was modern & beautiful & airy. Staff were very helpful. The neighborhood was great too - near grocery store, bakery, Steigal beer factory which is beautiful & lovely restaurants. Bus stop is only a few steps away but you could walk to the old town within 35 - 40 min.

Villa très facile à trouver. Proche du centre historique. Chambre spacieuse, propre et tranquille. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit, mais n'avons rien trouver à redire. Sauf peut etre le prix du petit déjeuner (10euros par personne!) que nous n'avons donc pas pris. A recommander fortement!

Villa Ceconi was a great place to stay. The room was furnished with a great taste. A traditional furniture in harmony with modern bathroom. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was very good too, with a great service.

My room TV broke down and it took two reminders over 12 hours to get repaired. Staff friendly and helpful - however message not passed on I suspect. Pleasant, comfortable and large room, very quiet. Short walk to main sister hotel for breakfast not a problem. No information about how to contact main hotel if service needed.

Reception is at Hotel Zur Post, which is a short walk from Villa Ceconi. No phone available in the room. Speaker system connects you to the reception, but nobody answers whenever we use it, so it is best to just walk to the reception area. Bus stop is right at the door; supermarket nearby. Make sure you bring your own alarm clock. Overall, very nice stay. Rooms are very quiet.

Good location with easy bus access and about a 15 minute walk into Salzburg. Internet access needs to be improved.

How to reach Hotel Villa Ceconi

By car
From the A10 highway, take the exit for the airport. At the first roundabout, keep going straight on through the underpass. At the second roundabout, turn left towards Salzburg. Then go straight on until the T-crossing (at the fourth traffic light). Turn right for the city center Zentrum, into Maxglaner Hauptstraße. The Hotel zur Post, where you will find the reception desk of Villa Ceconi, is on the left hand side. The villa is about a 2-minute walk from the hotel, on the other side of the street.

By train
From the Hauptbahnhof Salzburg train station, take bus linie 1 to Europark. Get off at Schwedenstraße (Villa Ceconi) or at Eichetstraße (Hotel zur Post).

By airplane
From Salzburg Airport Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart it takes a 5-minute ride by taxi to reach the hotel.
