Unrenovated room, the mattrass was probably 20 years old, stains all over the floor - but the last available room (for ONE night). Nice hotel if you get a renovated room though.

The Schloss is wonderful, and the breakfast couldn't have been better. However the hotel rooms are in a separate building and are basic. The web photos make it seem you would get a better room, which are apparently only available to the Seminar guests.

Great place! Amaizing baroque mansion by a beautiful lake. Only a few minutes away from Salzburg. Bicecles available at the hotel for the customers.

This hotel stay surpassed my expectations. We were up-graded on earlier e-mail request to huge luxury suite rooms in the main Schloss itself, at no extra cost, and we elected to stay an extra night also at the same rate as for the Meierhof rooms. The location (Sound of Music site for film fans), the facilities, & the huge buffet breakfast were all excellent.

Very nice the garden and the castle where it's possible to do breakfast. Very very nice the library. What a pity that there isn't restorant.

Pay attention to the entrance of the Schloss gate....there is no sign of the Hotel but only the indication of Seminar. The rooms on offer are allocated in the Seminar part of the hotel not in the castle. The surrondings are beautiful, very quite and the staff is very welcoming. The rooms could have better furnishing but the ratio quality vs price is good. Breakfast in the rooms of the castle is fantastic. By foot not so near to the city centre as expected.

Ottima l'educazione e la gentilezza del personale, bellissimo l'ambient. Peccato che l'hotel non sia segnalato a dovere in città! Infatti all'entrata non c'è un'insegna con Hotel, ma si classifica come "seminar".

Hotel bellissimo, ricco di charme,direttamente sul lago in splendida posizione. parco splendido, personale cortesissimo e preparato, ottima colazione in salone bellissimo ,spazi comuni di una bellezza indescrivibile,ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro, immerso nel verde..ci tornerò sicuramente e lo raccomando vivamente!

Schloss Leopoldskron is privately owned and has restricted access, but guests at the nearby Meierhof have full access to the area and can have breakfast in the magnificent rooms of the Schloss. You can choose from beautifully decorated single and double rooms for your stay, which all come with a private bathroom, hair-dryer, and complimentary daily newspaper. All the accommodations are furthermore equipped with desk, safe, Internet connection, mini bar, radio and heating facilities.Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.

How to reach Schloss Leopoldskron – Meierhof Hotel
By carComing from the highway A1 take the exit at the airport, following Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse towards the centre. After a few metres you will reach a junction where you have to turn right onto the Maxglaner Hauptstrasse. After passing the restaurant Riedenburg, turn right onto the Moosstraße and at the second traffic light turn right again onto Nussdorferstrasse. Proceed straight ahead, following the Leopoldskronstrasse, until reaching the castle.

From the main railway station you can reach the property in about 15 minutes by taxi.
