Free parking in weekends. Just put euro 0,10 in the parking meter to collect a ticket. Small area behind the hotel to unpack your stuff out of the car before parking the car in the street. 5 Minutes walking from shopingstreets en 10 minutes to the heart of the city. Free city map from the reception with explanation about various routes. Beautifull hotel and city!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Mozart! It was clean, cozy and had character. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help with directions or a restaurant recommendation. The location is great for those wanting to stay a little off the beaten path in a quieter neighborhood. Would definitely return to Hotel Mozart!

Our 3 night stay was excellent. The staff could not have been nicer or more professional, access from the hauptbanhoff via bus no 2 a cinch (or a modest walk), and the breakfasts were wunderbar. Everything about the Mozart was very neat, clean and in excellent taste. Salzburg was experiencing an unusual heatwave during our stay, but the in-room fan (no aircon) and the exceptional service kept us cool and happy :-) Definitely highly recommended.

We were on a multiple county trek and spent 3 nights in Salzburg, one being our anniversary. We were very pleased with the location and quality of the room and the staff. My only complaints would be the very poor WiFi service and the lack of a hot water pot in the room. Even in the lobby I had trouble uploading pictures to our blog. The location was a reasonable walk from the train station and quite an easy walk to the old town area with the sites, stores and restaurants.

The Hotel Mozart was an exceptional European Hotel. The rooms are the same size as you will see in all European, but their prices are much lower than you see in compearable quaility hotels, so all you Americans who have never stayed in an European hotel don't view it as small. It's in an exellent location, very clean, and you couldn't ask for a friendler staff. The only faults would be a weak Wi-Fi signal but it is free and it is useable, and elevator is very small. Something very intresting, they still use the old fassion real keys, not mag cards, with very beautful brass key holders that you leave at the front desk whenever you go out of the hotel, like you would 70 years ago, so the staff remember you by name.

Rooms could get hot in summer months as there is no air con. and it would be impossible to sleep with windows open because of the street noise. However a free standing fan was provided. The triple glazing ensures the street noise stays outside. Otherwise the perfect budget hotel for a short stay in Salzburg.

The location is perfect for anyone wanting to be in a safe quiet area but only a short stroll away from all the tourist attractions of Salzburg. For us it was good that there was a private hotel parking available even though it wasn't free. The staff very friendly. The room we were given was very very small. The bathroom was also of an economy size. We had a good night sleep covered with lovely down douvets.

The hotel is in a traditional building and is quiet, well decorated and the rooms well appointed. The location is good (5mins walk to Mirabel Platz). The staff at the Mozart were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and they gave us some very good suggestions on what to see and where to go. Breakfast was good but the hotel itself has limited facilities with no bar area, only a very small sitting area and no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mozart. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and located within easy walk distance to Old Town. We were traveling with a car and a baby, and the hotel provided parking (for a reasonable fee) as well as a portable crib for our child. We would definitely stay here again. Staying at the Hotel Mozart was a very pleasant experience. It is a family owned hotel, with the family very much on the premises. They were most accommodating, and helpful in responding quickly to a couple of minor concerns in the room. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom very good. We made a couple suggestions regarding the arrangement of the room and were informed that they were already "in the pipeline" for improvements. The breakfasts were excellent, with many choices of tasty items; you will not go hungry at Hotel Mozart! Several attentive servers kept us well supplied; they all wear dirndls, which adds to the Austrian atmosphere of the hotel. We met some interesting international travelers at breakfast, including several from China. The hotel is located across the river from the old town in a nice neighborhood. It's not far to walk anywhere, and public transport is available; several good restaurants are nearby. Overall, this is a delightful place to stay; we enjoyed it very much.

This is a lovely hotel. I enjoyed my room and the view of the garden from the balcony. Since there was no option for "I don't Know" when answering hotel web site accuracy I put in zero, not an indication of truth or not. I didn't see the hotel on a web site first. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The "quiet" factor may depend on your room location. Fireworks in the neighborhood at three in the morning was surprising : ) I can't say for sure about the money value, to me it was expensive especially since it did not include breakfast. So I hear that is the story of Mykonos itself.

We went for new year so it was double the normal price but only paid eu89 for our last night. Overall, the hotel was excellent and the position is very close to the Rathouse where all the action was (concert on new year's eve). The staff struggled a bit with English but they tried. We were told that ice hockey wasn't very popular so just turn up at the stadium. After talking to a lady from the back office, she got on the internet for us and booked the tickets - first night booked out; limited tickets for the next night - so pleased we didn't just 'rock up'. Don't believe everything the desk tells you. Wireless internet not available but two computers for free in foyer, although they were Apples in German, which we struggled with.

The hotel itself was a very good price for the quality. The location was good, although parking was an additional cost (as well as the breakfast). The hotel itself was fine - however the road noise was significant. What tainted our stay was our check-in experience being stressful and upsetting. The hotel receptionist told us we could not be picked up outside the hotel for our Sound of Music Tour with the Rick Steve's recommended "Bob's Tours" because the hotel wasn't "contracted with Bob's". After 30 minutes of conflict about this matter, the receptionist finally agreed to let them pick us outside the front of the hotel as we had arranged (Great tour by the way - but they will try very hard to dissuade you). Also, we had tried to directly book a Mozart Dinner concert for a Rick Steve's discount. When asking the hotel for help when the email for Mozart Dinner Concert bounced back - they insisted we could get no discount by booking directly. We later found this absolutely untrue but since we had Mozart hotel make our reservation, they would not honor the discount. We believe the hotel was trying very hard to mislead and misdirect us so they could receive their commissions.

This hotel is well located across the river from oldtown Salzburg and near Mirabell. It is perhaps a 10-15 minute walk to oldtown. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Hotel Mozart can be recommended without reservation. Rooms, breakfast and furnishings excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. Checkout time very liberal (11 a.m.) Views of the nearby hill (Kapuzinerberg) from some rooms on the 5th floor (503 - 506: 507, where we were, has a partial view from one bed!) Some traffic noise from street. Client information lacking in one respect: the room TV had an information channel (Ch.1), which also included a general and very informative film about Salzburg in various languages - but we only found out about it on the last day (by accident!) Now we know, and would return to Hotel Mozart with great pleasure - good value for money, even though not cheap!

I stayed at the Hotel Top Mozart in March, which is not a "heavy" tourist month. But the staff were very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again. However, if you have small children, you would have to learn to use public transportation (available through the Salzburg Card), because many of the attractions are a bit of a walk away. The distance is not at all uncomfortable for an adult, but it might be tiring for a child after a day of sight-seeing.

This hotel was a good choice - it has a family-run feel to it, but offers all the usual facilities for a hotel much larger. Well situated and easily accessible but somewhat expensive, considering breakfast was not included. I would try to find a pension were I to go back.

Excellent location near to the Linzer Gasse, a ten minute walk to the old town, close to numerous reataurants and bars. The jewell in the crown of this hotel is without doubt the first class, friendly staff, they are multi lingual and very knowledgable when it came to making recommendations for restaurants and excursions, they were always friendly, patient and polite. A lack of air conditioning means that on a warm evening you may have to leave your room window open, this lets in the street noise. The breakfast was tasty and varied, the ambience of the hotel is that of a traditional Austrian establishment. The rooms are not big but they are well appointed and comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Mozart.

The hotel staff was not very gracious except for the cleaning staff. The desk clerks acted arrogant towards the women in the party. It may be the local culture but some found it intolerant.

The room was nice. We had requested a quiet room when we booked the hotel and this was noted at check-in and was provided. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Loud at night. Several blocks from where things are. Great Breakfast but had to pay for it where most hotels include breakfast.

good. It will be much better if the hotel tell how to get there by bus or train rathen than just walk 10 mins. It's quite hot if we walk under sunshine.

Our time in Saltzburg was delightful. The hotel was close to everything. We were able to walk to all the highlights of the city and enjoy local restaurants. The facility was very clean and the staff very friendly. We would return to this hotel if returning to Salzburg.

We had a lovely stay at Top Hotel Mozart. Bruno was the best. Helped us with our lost luggage and was most accommodating and friendly. Other employees were friendly also. Rooms were very nice. We had a most peaceful stay there. Salzburg is beautiful. Our hotel was close enough to everything that we wanted to see by foot. I would recommend to anyone.

This was our first stay at T.H Mozart (and visit to Salzburg) and we would, without a second thought, stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends. The staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. If we were to return to Salzburg we wouldn't even look into other hotels. Location, cost, cleanliness, staff - all great! TOP HOTEL! ;O)

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel had a very homely feeling and an excellent breakfast. It was a short walk from the centre and access to all the attractions. We were driving and appreciated the car parking facility which was free. It was a perfect location to base ourselves while sightseeing in the area. We have discovered a little gem and would definately stay at the Mozart again.

Entire hotel staff was superb and went far beyond expectations to ensure our stay was memorable. Location afforded walking distance proximity to many of Salzburg's key events and services.

Nice hotel with "old-style" rooms. It's near the walking area but in the opposite side of the river respect to old town.

Well located. Asked for rooms with a mountain view and were given them. Hotel receptionist called Awelie, a young French woman, was excellent with accurate information every time we asked but one of the male receptionists just guessed the answer- and he was usually wrong. Good hotel for the price, clean and reasonably quiet but with no facilities to make a hot drink and the hotel did not offer any room service. Also there is no bar. Breakfast was good for 10€. Maps given on arrival are useful and the restaurants recommended, apart from the nearby Italian which has a restricted menu, were good. We would stay there again.

A bit noisy in the nighttime. The rooms are really small. Excellent position.
