Hotel am Mirabellplatz - Salzburg

The location is good and hotel staffs are very helpful.

It´s a good hotel, good value for money, confortable, with spacious and clean rooms. It´s closed to the center, near from Scholl Mirabell and there is a coffee shop in the corner. The only problem is the wifi conexion, although it´s free, you have to ask them everyday.

It would have been nice if the hotel had a bar - the lounge had free non-alcoholic drinks, which was fine, but a small bar would have been welcome on a winter's night. Very good situation, close to the sights and to transport.

Great historical hotel in a prime location. Able to walk to all areas of interest and close to numerous shops, restaurants and pubs. Laundromat located on same street was handy. Room was large and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Overall a nice hotel - more "hotel" than the B&Bs we try to stay in. Not a downside, just different. The free juice and water in lobby were nice, but the breakfast is not free (as noted in other comments) and is quite pricey. As the person below says, there is a bakery literally right there on the corner, a great place for breakfast. The hallway on our floor was air conditioned but the rooms weren't. We were on the top floor and had a really hard time getting any airflow into the room so it was pretty warm even though the temps in Salzburg were only 28C (82F) Location is great though and overall it was a good stay.

The location for a city stay is absolutely perfect next to the Mirabell palace But the best with the hotel was the kindness and helpfullness of the staff. Reception personel was werry helful and have a great knowledge of the city and countryside. The only- was the loudness frm the street and there was no air-condition and the citywas 35 degrees Hot. Thanks to the lovely staffmembers!

A lovely, friendly hotel. A very spacious room. Only problem was the street noise, but a good pair of earplugs remedied this! Position was fantastic for most areas. We had a lovely stay.

The hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are spacious. There is free coffee and juice in the lobby.The people at the front desk are very kind and willing to help.Location is good. The only drawback I found was that breakfast was not included, which we already knew, and when we asked the prize we found it was very expensive:14 euros per person. There is a coffee shop just round the corner where you can have good breakfast for a reasonable price.

In a very expensive city, Austrotel is a real bargain. The room was small, but clean and close to everything. Good choice!

Thelocation across the street from the Mirabell Garden is excellent. Train station is a 15 min walk. The old town across the river is a short walk away. The lack of air conditioning could be a consideration during warm weather. The hotel has no dining facility (other than breakfast) and many restaurants in town close for Sunday. A pub nearby on the main street called Manuhamer (?) serves reasonable food.

Perfect location, only 5-10 minutes on foot from Salzburg's Old Town. Buffet breakfast was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is free WIFI in the whole area of the hotel. Underground garage (Mirabell garage) is just a few steps from the hotel. In general we were really satisfied - the only problem we had was that our room's furniture was a bit worn-out and it was too close to the elevator and the cleaner's service room (room 201).

Great value for money. Located only a short walking distance from the old town and just across the road from the Mirrabel Schloss and gardens. Very friendly and helpfull staff

ottima posizione per visitare la città, in pochi minuti si arriva all'area pedonale dall'altra parte del fiume. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Camere confortevoli e pulite (anche la stanza singola), forse il bagno un po' piccolo. Accanto alla reception c'è una parte con poltrone e divani dove sono sempre a disposizione acqua, succhi di frutta, tisane e caffè. C'è anche un pc con connessione gratuita. Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione, forse a quel prezzo si può trovare di meglio fuori. Per chi viaggia in macchina l'hotel mette a disposizione a prezzo scontato il vicino Mirabellgarage (prima di ritirare la macchina presentare il biglietto del garage alla reception, loro mettono un timbro poi ci si presenta alla cassa del garage - non alle macchinette automatiche - ed il personale del garage applica lo sconto). Ci tornerei senz'altro.
