The Bed and Breakfast named La Villa Française is located in the heart of Barra’s area, place where not only the Brazilian like meeting to have a drink, “cerveja” or “caipirinha”. It’s one of the favourite places for brasilian night life, a lively residential area, with bars, restaurants and Shopping Centers.
Old colonial Mansion, this lovely residence was the “Alliance Française” headquarters during several years. (language teaching).
Today, it’s been newly remodeled in a typical brasilian Bed and Breakfast, and Stéphanie, Nathalie & Family will welcome you and they will leave you with wonderful memories of your stay in Salvador.
La Villa Française is very convenient for the main turistic sites of Salvador and its surroundings. It is centrally situated between the beaches of « Farol da Barra » and « Porto da Barra », downtown Salvador. (5mns walking ).
Less than 10mns walking and you’ll find the direct bus for the Historic Center Pelourinho (15mns) or for the « Terminal Maritimo » for a cruise in the All Saints’Bay.
The whole team will recommend the best restaurants to enjoy typical brasilian/bahiana’s food.
Stéphanie, Nathalie and Family, for sure, with their knowledge and their professionalism, are at your disposal to elaborate a beautiful holidays’ programme. For example, you can choose the City Tour (Pelourinho, Bonfim Church, Ribeira typical area, Mercado Modelo…), Horse riding in the Atlantic Forest, Trekking in The Chapada Diamantina, Praia do Forte…
