We booked this hotel after seeing excellent reviews and thankfully they were true. Do believe the reviews, this place is a real "find". The staff couldn´t do enough for us. There was a free taxi service into and back from town. When we took a taxi from a firm the hotel don´t use by mistake, the hotel gave us a refund which we didn`t expect; it was our fault. The restaurant is excellent too. There is a breakfast for kings and the main restaurant is Italian with good ingrediants and fine cooking by Vincenzo, who showed us the fresh pasta he´s made or meat before it was cooked, talked through dishes before he cooked them so that we could modify them according to our taste. It was like having a personal chef! My husband and I can´t recommend this place enough- a real oasis in Salvador.
