My wife and six year old daughter came to Salou on the night of June 23, which is a night of festivity in whole Cataluña. It was very difficult to find a place to park our car close to the hotel, but this seems to be a general problem in Salou. The village seems to be a "well-organized" tourist machine, with plenty of fun for those who fancy disco and party at night, but for our purpose, a quiet family vacation, we preferred taking our car further to Altafulla some kilometres further north of Tarragona to stay the rest of our vacation. However, the hotel was quite ok, reasonable price and standard, though no extravagance!
