You get what you pay for . Best part of the holiday was going to Porta adventura, which is why we booked Salou. Hotel food was generally o'k enterainment o'k . would not return to Salou, would book a quitier town

This was my first time visiting Salou. I didnt think much of it. However, on the bright side Portaventura was absolutely fantastic. It had a fabulous variation of rides for all ages and was thoroughly enjoyable. Portaventura is the reason i will go back. My daughter(and i) loved it. As for Hotel Calypso........i wont be going back. In fairness to it it was very cheap. It was also kept very clean. Im not normally fussy but my big problem with this place is that the walls were incredibly thin. They were like paper. What it meant was you go to sleep when the last of your neighbouring rooms go to sleep and you get up when the first of your neighbouring rooms get up. If they decide to party for the night, well then its no sleep for you. That becomes incredibly frustrating when your child needs rest after a hectic day at portaventura. I also found staff at reception to be less than helpful.

The hotel hasn't parking area and for this I have had a big problem with my car. The police took my car and I have paid a fee, in total amount of 140 Euro

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. Check-out: it is necessary to vacate the rooms not later than 10 a.m.

In-room safe is not included and costs €1,80 per day plus a refundable deposit of €20,00.
Breakfast is not included in the price and costs €5,00.
