Hotel Duomo - Salò

Wonderful location and we were upgraded a large junior suite. old fashioned but extremely well-equipped bedroom with large modern bathroom.

A little difficulty in finding property, on an area that is not accessible by vehicle. Have to call hotel and ask them to let you in the road. We asked for a lake view room and we had a room that faced the lake without much of a view as it had a trellised planter in front of the door that blocked the view and it was a communal patio with a hot tub in the corner. Overall for the price, it was a good deal.

Lovely breakfast room with view over the lake. The quiet and silence is absolut.

Go out on the lake to Limone. Walk the promenade. First time at Salo but would go again

Every thing was all right, but I would prefer not to have a room on the first floor (the one on the hotel solarium)

An excellent hotel in an outstanding location. I recommend you spend the extra and get the lakeside view as it was sensational. Only problem with the hotel is that the air conditioning was not strong enough, and was the equivalent of having a fan in your room blowing round warm air. There is a restaurant directly behind the hotel called L'Oca Cioca, run by an ward winning chef called Roberto, the food and hospitality was amazing.

The room was huge for Italy ,the lakeview great. The carpet in the room was full of spots,water wine,whatever. The restaurant belonging to the hotel was on the wonderful terrase on the wonderful lake with the perfect view and a terrible food.not worth the pricees.we would come back but never eat again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Duomo. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we were a little disappointed that there was no swimming pool as advertised but would definitely return. We had a lake view room with balcony which was extremely pleasant.

Great service, great facilities and friendly staff in this quality Hotel. Sensational waterfront location in Salo with restaurants, cafes & shops at your doorstep. We enjoyed the waterfront suite with balcony. Great service from all staff, especially the waitress during breakfast each morning. Hotel rooms were OK for a short stay, maybe too small for a longer stay. A good holiday. Stayed in a junior suite which was fine for the three of us. Lovely weather for September. Map on the site showing car parking was out of date. The actual car park was closer. It's well worth borrowing the bikes for bike rides to the neighbouring towns even if you are not a great bike fan. The towns are fairly close. Staff helpful and service very good.

The questions refer to competence of staff but not their willingness. For that I would give 11/10, I must mention specifically i) the breakfast waitress (she was lovely, very kind, very polite, very helpful), and ii) the room 'cleaner' (a young girl, she added a few touches, like decoratively laying out my wife's nightie). Also the receptionist's info, the waiting staff etal were all good, it made the difference for us. Food and location were very good. On the negative side, the only things :- i) Swimming pool was advertised but there was none and ii) the 2nd room in our suite contained only a sofa bed, which was not good, nor clearly advertised, for our 6'3" son. Only there for 2 nights, so these did not matter too much to us.

Avons passé une soirée compléte: restaurant agréable sur front de lac(pas mer) .Rue entre hotel et promenade (voir sur photo). Chambre et Sdb impeccables .Personnel accueillant, agréable FRANCAIS, ANGLAIS, ITALIEN,.. Une trés bonne étape.

The hotel was ideally situated, service was very good. The location inside the old town makes it tricky to find but worth the effort. Best to look for the gated entrance with the small traffic lights, and follow the road. We stayed in Oct when it was very quiet not many people around, and ferry transport did not opperate from Salo. I would definitely recommend the hotel, the junior suite had two sleeping area's and both with a balcony and outside seating and lounger. Vert spacious.

We had an excellent three night stay. We will return again.

Excellent town location overlooking the lake. Very good food, excellent staff, but a small bedroom & bathroom. Recommended if you aregoing to be in your room for a limited time

Equal to the best hotel I have stayed at in England (Albert Austin, the husband). We found the published information to be correct in every respect.

Excellent stay. Hotel very friendly and Salo a great little town.

This hotel has a splendid location, the rooms are very comfortable, the staff friendly and the food of high quality. This is a place we shall return to. Map provided for car parking and dropping off cases definitely needs improving, though; it's actually incorrect! Would highly recommend a stay here. Quiet location, high quality dining in the hotel but many other restaurants only minutes away. Ask at reception about the ferries to other lakeside towns; discounted fares are available.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay. Very helpful hotel staff (everyone we met!). Location is excellent - we very much enjoyed breakfast gazing across the lake. Short walk to catch the boat to tour Largo di Garda - this is an excellent base to explore Garda by boat. Excellent resurants in the area. We are very keen to return soon! There is a very narrow one way road that leads down to the quay, where you can stop opposite the hotel lobby to drop off your bags. Hotel includes reserved space in local car park. Needs a few words of guidance on the Website to find the entrance to this one-way system.

We had a plesent stay in your hotel. The only thing we did not like very much was the space in the batchroom under the shower. It was there also a little dark and we recommend you to do something to let the water have the same temperature. Kind regards !

Beautiful town, nice hotel location on edge of lake and very friendly and helpful staff. Difficult to find hotel because of one-way roads.
