Parking 3 blocks away with no assistance to transport the luggage. Reservation was not made. The room they offered us was small and unhealthy.

We did not have a car to park, so parking was not an issue. Location was great! Had a large room with one king, and 3 "singles", but they were a little bigger than an American single. Loved the computer in the room and space!A great value.

I requested a high floor and nice view and I got a great view. Wifi all over makes life easier. We arrived before check in time and got a room right away, this is a MAJOR plus.

Floor in our room was on a tilt - old building. Felt like sleeping in a non full flat bed in airline business class - hard to get a decent sleep. Cleaners already banging around at 07.15

Reading information you can understand that rooms are spacious and facing main square. Actually we got a tiny room opening on a pit. Rooms facing the square are quoted whith an extra 30 €. Modération note, we came during town feastival.

I left a day eralier and checked into a much cheaper, nicer, better located hotel. Access, if you drive, is impossible -usually so, I found out, in Salamanca; but the promotion made no mention of it. You have to drag your luggage 5 blocks and, once you get to the hotel, no one is there to help. Rooms are tiny and the "door" between the crammed beds and the bathroom is see-through glass. There is the possibility of a third bed, but the advertisment does not say so. In any event, if space was crammed for 2, imagine for three. Internet connection in the room never worked. Computer available in lobby requires you to stand in entrance hall, making access difficult to and from elevator, desk, and street door.

Thanks venere for a great price as well. Food is a little bit ify, DONT go to the CHINESE, we hated the food and the wine was worse.

Need better instruction to get to the hotel in order to navigate the complex one-way street system and pedestrian areas of Salamanca

The room was noisy from within the hotel. The ventilation shaft in the room seemed to lead directly in from the corridor. The cleaning lady filling her water bucket behind a very thin wall woke us up some mornings. A glass door, with a clear part in the middle, leading to the bathroom does not give you the privacy you require. But the surroundings are magnificent. Twenty paces to the Plaza Mayor!

Room was quite nice; pity that we could not have dinner at your place vieuwing the square. Difficult to find as on the map we could not see that your hotel lies in a pedestrial area and the signs were confusing.

This was basic accommodation in a superb situation. I felt lucky to be able to stay in such a central location for such a reasonable price. The hotel's own restaurant seemed perfectly adequate though I only used it for breakfast. I would not hesitate to use it again for Salamanca. In fact tried to book for my return journey only to find it fully booked.

The hotel is excellently located however its central location does mean lots of noise at noght. it was a nice little hotel but DO NOT USE THE PHONES. we made a number of local calls and were hit with a bill of nearly 100euros! we thought it would be cheaper than using roaming but we were sadly mistaken!! apart from that the hotel served its purpose, however their "luggage storage" is a cleaner's cupboard by the reception....

Fantastic location at a great price. The map giving directions to hotel is hopeless, luckily the Plaza Mayor is Salamancas main square but the one way system made getting there rather difficult, but well worth the effort.Side entrance should be pointed out.

Very central. choose this hotel if you only need it to sleep because rooms are very, very small and don't have view. however you can upgrade your stay by asking for a bigger room with internet and a great view to Plaza Mayor and paying 5x more

We stayed at the Hotel Petit Palace in April 2005. The room was very nice, and large (by European standards). The hotel is located on Plaza Mayor, great location, convenient to main sights. We were not able to drive right to the hotel, but had to park about 2 blocks away and walk to the hotel for check-in. We were instructed to park in a nearby garage for 10 euros per day (if validated by the hotel). If driving to the hotel, make sure you have a good detailed map of the area showing the one-way and pedestrian streets (some are available on the web). There is a charge if you have breakfast, 5 euros each if you reserve the night before. Breakfast was good, better than many, in a large breakfast room. Free internet access at the hotel, one pc in the lobby and one just off the breakfast room. Great value. We would stay again if in Salamanca.

The noise in the hallways early in the morning was disturbing; even though we had a non-smoking room it often smelt strongly of cigarettes; I would also advise the maids to wear hairnets...

Excellent location - once we had found the entrance door (note, it seems to be part of the Torres Hotel, tho entrance is round the corner). Location map not helpful here. Cramped but comfortable room. Given that we were staying two nights, were surprised to find shower gel not replenished after night one. Also, for such a 'business-related' hotel, no sewing kit (which we needed); nor pen/pencil to go with (Torres Hotel) notepad. Otherwise, it was a great location. Good (but pricey) breakfast - and easy internet access!

This hotel offers a good service for a reasonable price. Main disadvantages are the lack of space in the rooms and the incompetence of the staff as far as foreign languages are concerned. They don't master English, French or German. Spanish is the one and only! The biggest advantages are the splendid location of the hotel at the backside of Salamanca's Plaza Major and the rather extensive breakfast which costs only €5 provided you book it in advance. Otherwise it's €8. If you come by car, you can park the vehicle in a public (guarded) parking nearby but that isn't cheap despite the special rates the parking offers for customers of Petit Palace Las Torres. It's a pity the hotel doesn't mention this on the website.

We cannot recommend this property to shy travellers. There is ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVACY IN THE BATHROOMS, because the bathroom-door is a milky glass door with a window (!!!!) and a 5 cm space between the wall and the door. Everybody can watch you bathing, washing, shi......

The best thing about this hotel is the postion. South facing balconies overlook the Plaza Major, said to be the best in Spain, and I would not argue. The worst is the refurbished hotel tries very hard to be high tech but doesn't quite succeed with badly fitting doors and a complicated shower cubicle which didn't work

Perfect location for a great price. Good value for money. Beautifull new rooms, unfortunately not to big but on the other hand you are not supposed to stay in your room for long since Salamanca has so much to offer. Only disadvantage is that you cannot park close to the hotel so you have to take your luggage for a 8 minute walk. You can park your car in a secure car park against 10 Euro a day.
