Good Hotel. Parking a bit congested for larger vehicles. Should not have to pay to park in garage, this causes congestion outside.

An excellent place to stay but located out of town so a taxi needed to go into the City. Great value. Smokers beware it is totally non smoking and you have go outside.

Great! Not close to town, if you are by feet. But by car, it' s not a problem, Salamanca is not big and it' s easy to find a parking. The hotel is about 3 km to downtown. Surronudings are bad because it' s in a industrial area, but it' s very very quiet and clean. The beds are big hard and comfortable, that's the thing that I appreciated more.

While a little out of the city and in a commercial quarter the quality and price of the hotel and the food make up for the location. Also had free internet access which was great for sending e-postcards back home.

I stay in hotels all over Spain whilst taking private tours for www.spanish-fiestas.com so as a driver this place suited me for one night. However, I can't imagine why tourists would select it other than the fact that it is cheap and parking is free and easy. The Montalvo is a business hotel on an industrial estate some 3km outside the city. The meals in th restaurant are very cheap and awful. Please look for something better nearer the city which is geared to travelers.

What a fantastic hotel stay for a first-time American couple to Europe! The room was spacious and immaculately clean, the hotel bar & restaurant were first class. Part of the reason for the great stay was the staff throughout this hotel. They were fantastic! I consider myself savvy with making internet reservations, comparing prices and accommodations. This hotel was offered at other travel websites at a much higher price. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Montalvo again were we to make another visit to Salamanca, Spain! We would also use Venere.com to book.

You need a car for this hotel, which is far from the center But if you have one, you have a real 3 star hotel, half the price of the town center 3 star hotels

The front of house staff were very helpfull. Hotel facilities were excellent but once you left the hotel the area was a little bit like a building site. Great hotel for a one or two nights stay.

Hôtel assez éloigné du centre de Salamanca et séparé par une double voies. Une voiture est donc nécessaire. Sinon hôtel propre et spacieux. Accès Internet gratuit. Personnel pas très accueillant.
