Breakfast at Hôtellerie de la Poste

We will welcome you for breakfast from 7.00 am until 11.00 am. A buffet is available in the breakfastroom. You can enjoy continental breakfast and buffet with of fresh fruits, fromage blanc and cereals. We will serve breakfast (depending on the weather) inside, or : out on the terrasse overlooking the swimming pool. .. The early morning sunshine gently welcomes the beginning of your day. .. We remind you that the breakfast is included, along with the buffet until December 31st 2009, then that will cost 8€ per person.
(you will find a copy of our menu for "extras" in this folder and includes Eggs, Ham, Cheese etc).
You can find a baby highchair and bottlewarmer in the breakfast room.
For the earlier departures, our night porter will be abble to offer you tea, coffee, fruit juices, melba toast and selection of breakfast breads (please let us know the day before if you wish to depart early and would like breakfast before to leave).

We stayed for 2 nights commencing 1/10/08 as part of a 6 day trip including Cannes, St.Paul de Vence & Nice. Hotelliere de la Poste is well located near the beachfront & is adjacent to a public carpark (free for off-season commencing 1/10! but a car is not strictly necessary with good rail & bus services, as each place of interest is relatively close to one another). A good choice of restaurants, bars & shops are located nearby & there is good ferry access to St.Tropez. Hotel was very clean, our pool-view room was quiet, staff were friendly, breakfast on the terrace was good. Pool was freezing, but what do you expect in October!! Hotel was good value & much better than our choices in Cannes & Nice! St.Maxime is a nice place to visit, with old town character & good to use as a base to explore the region. We will be back

We ended up staying in two rooms - the first much better than the second in terms of space and equipment. The use of the term "seaview" was a little exagerated as the sea is glimpsed between buildings - and the chimney of the pizza restaurant next door may be a seasonable problem. Overall though, a good stay.

Would gladly recommend Hôtellerie de la Poste and St. Maxime to stay in. The hotel was one of the stays we remember fondly on our European trip. The staff are friendly and welcoming - our room was a suite - generous size with cute French doors. Not your standard hotel room - quite homely with quaint but comfortable, largely wooden, decor. Our only reservation concerned the shower - it was a hand-held nossle with nowhere to hang it, so you have to shower one-handed. A window was also placed indiscreetly in the bathroom and we covered it with a towel. But overall a really nice place to stay, with a nice little bar downstairs and comfortable, clean rooms. Also a great town to stay in to be close to it all but avoiding the madness and expense of San Sebastian, which is about a 20 minute drive. Would return here gladly! Note that "free parking" is on the street, not a car park.

At the last roundabout, the Mac-Donalds one, take

You will arrive to a last round about, and you have
To take the second street "rue de Verdun" and not St Tropez.

At the end of this street, you will see " l'Hôtellerie

By train
You arrive at St Raphaël train station. (16 km from Sainte-Maxime) and then you can take the bus or a taxi.

By airplane
You arrive at Nice or Toulon airport. Then you can take a taxi or the bus and the train.

We also can propose you a card, on request, at the daily rate of 10 Euros to park in the undergroung car park situated at 50 meters from the Hôtel.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Cancellation Conditions : If you cancel your stay, our hotel will keep a cancellation fee following this schedule : - More than 30 days before arrival : 30 Euros charged for expenses file - From 30 days to 15 days before arrival : 50% of the total amount of the reservation for stays from 1 to 3 nights, 15% for longer stays. - Less than 15 days before arrival : 100% of the amount of the reservation for stays from 1 to 3 nights, 30% for longer stays.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
