Great hotel and location to St Paul de Vence. We stayed there twice during the same 10 day period we liked it so much. Staff was very friendly and flexible. Fluent in English. Swimming pool was great after a long day of sightseeing. Do not serve dinner but many options nearby. Breakfast was very good and served promptly and courteously.

We (2 couples mid 40's)stayed at Les Vergers for 2 nights in early January 2009. The hotel is about 1.5-2k from the entrance to the walled city & you could easy walk to the city or drive. The hotel has a good sized car park (free)& as the hotel was lightly booked & we were upgraded to a larger room voluntarily by english speaking owners who were very helpful & gave advice of restuarants & galleries to visit. I have been to St Paul de Vence twice before & previouly stayed at Hotel Le St Paul in the walled city, however they were closed on this vist. Les Vergers offers a series of very clean classically french decorated hotel rooms with balconies & external sun blinds overlooking a large pool area that looked very inviting complete with sun chairs etc. There are external blinds & shutters. There is Air Cond & a flat screen TV with CNN BBC etc. The Hotel offers breakfast at extra charge or you can eat in the walled city, or any number of restaurants close by. The hotel does have a policy of no drinks or food in rooms brought in from outside, which is a shame because there are good opportunities to buy wine locally & good delicatesan supplies for a pre dinner snack that we often enjoy. In all We had a good stay & would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel for short term stay, ten minutes from main autoroute giving access to Cannes, Nice, Grasse. Steep walk or short drive to St Paul De Vence walled town. Very beautiful and great choice of restaurants.
