Limpieza de la habitación y espacios comunes algo deficiente. Mobiliario viejo. Poco mantenimiento. Increible, pero no disponen de ascensor y las habitaciones estaban en tercer piso. El precio del escaso desayuno es desorbitado (10 euros por persona.

Had a very poor meal at the Brasserie just around the corner. For the price what we paid it was a total rip off . We arrived from Australia feeling secure in the comfort that we had paid a reasonable price for an hotel that would give us a fair standard of accommodation .The room in which we stayed bore no resemblance to the photos displayed. We payed far less in hotels throughout France for a MUCH higher standard of accommodation .

This is an excellent Hotel. The rooms are beautifully furnished in a traditional provincial style. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaraunt is first class, although a little expensive. There is a delightful private pool. It is located in the very centre of the town. The hotel provides excellent accommodation for both business and leisure clientele.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, we checked in late and the night porter was fantastic. The breakfast was not great though.

nous recommandons cet hôtel uniquement pour sa cuisine: excellente !!par contre l'hôtel est mal situé , le long d'une rue bruyante; .Le parking peut contenir 3 voitures !! A proximité ( 100m.) il y a un parking public gratuit le jour mais gardé la nuit pour 1,50€. C'est nettement plus intéressant . L'accès à la piscine n'est pas aisé ! il faut traverser le garage et une buanderie . Conclusion : n'hésitez pas à vous rendre à l'hôtel de france pour son resto" côté jardin" gastronomique et abordable .une étape d'1 jour c'est bien.

By car
From Aix en Provence (41.3 km/25.6 miles) or Nice: take the A8 highway and exit at the Auriol/Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume exit (no. 34). Enter the town and follow the signs for Aix-en-Provence/Barjols/Saint-Maximin. After 750 meters/0.5 miles you will see the hotel.
