Hotel La Villefromoy - Saint-Malo

This is a well maintained and welcoming hotel albeit a little expensive for the facilities provided.The breakfast charge is too high and can be halved by eating out each morning. Quite a walk to the Historic areas (but worth it when you get there)but that did mean that car parking was easy, either in the small hotel car park or in the adjacent street.

We only stayed one night and for that purpose it was very good.Our room(5, sea view with balcony) was a just a bit on the small side, particularly the bathroom, shower over bath not very practical. The sea view was looking down the street as the hotel is one block away from the sea front.But the general feeling of the hotel and the balcony were lovely.It may have been a bit expensive, but we havent compared it with others in the area. We would certainly visit again. The staff were most helpful.We selected this hotel because it stated private parking, in fact this was rather limited, about 8 vehicles only and rather difficult to manoeuvre.

We went for a sea-view room just for two nights when returning from a holiday in the Loire region. This hotel was very good and recently renovated with some beautiful features and decoration. Very friendly and welcoming staff who helped us get to know the area. The continental breakfast was high standard and the bar area was quiet. Location was about 20 mins promenade walk from the old town and 1 min walk from lovely beach. We will go back...

It is a pleasant 30 min stroll along the seafront from Hotel La Villefromoy to St Malo's old town. We enjoyed the partial view of the beach from our room.

St Malo is a busy bustling place it was a joy to retreat the short drive to Villefromoy. Close to the beach plenty of parking even in the height of summer. A calm serene hotel beautifully decorated and the staff are charming. Live in cat who is also serene and charming I could not praise the hotel more highly. The public rooms and the bedrooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. An excellent view from the balcony, a delicous breakfast, friendly and helpful service from the hotel employees, short distance to the sea and good restaurants.

A very beautiful hotel, I really enjoyed the stay there. The bedroom was lovely and everything was very new and clean which is obviously due to the fact that it only reopened a few months ago. The only drawback is the distance to the Old Town.You need to use car to get there, about 8 min drive, or 20 min walk.Breakfast was fine,could have been a bit more imaginary, but french breakfast are in general quite basic, it wasnt any worse then in other hotels in the same category. I really recommend this hotel

The accommodation was very good but it was difficult to find a suitable place to eat within walking distance of the hotel.
