Hotel Elizabeth - Saint-Malo

The Hotel had recently changed hands and the lady now running the place was most competent as was the other lady. Highly recommend it.

Exceptionally warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is in a small historic building with 2 rooms per floor that has been tastefully modernised and is in a good location in the old walled town. Rooms are comfortable and the hotel has a warm atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

Cozy accomodation with very friendly, helpful owner and staff. Central location, few steps from historical sights and oceanfront.

A very special hotel, with very good service!

Elizabeth Hotel is just inside the walls of St. Malo. It is lovely and very clean, the manager Jean-Nicholas is very welcoming and informative. For American's they need to remember that rooms in all B&B's can be on the small side when compared to American Hotels. But well worth the stay and the bed was very comfortable.

Owner extremely welcoming and helpful. Pre-booked garage parking available. Ideally located for town and ferry terminal. Noisy location as nightclub (in same street) emptied in early hours.

The Hotel is located inside the walled city of St. Malo. Excellent location for walking, shopping and experiencing city life of St. Malo. The proprietor was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Hotel is very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The Seagull during the season (June) were extremely noisy all day and night. Loved the city, would like to return.

The hotel was very nice, cozy and reasonably price. The owner and the other people working (family?) were all very welcoming, relaxed and positive. They really made the stay excellent.

Very nice hotel. Splitted into 2 buildings, we spent the night in the second one. The room were very nice and spacious. The hotel staff was very helpfull and recomended us a couple of restaurants to try. We used this hotel as a stop between Mt Saint Michel (approx 1 hr away) and Concarneau, and it worked out perfectly.

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. Great location (inside the walls), an old building, so there were some quirks with it, but the people were very, very helpful, welcoming etc etc. I would not go anywhere else in St Malo after our visit.

Excellent place with warm welcome. Free secure parking for my motorcycle and a great breakfast. Would stay again!

Very romantic and awesome town! The hotel is proudly owned and operated by helpful, happy people. We were assisted in seeing the things we wanted to see knowing we only had one day (the only downside ... had I known St Malo was this lovely, I would have planned things differently so we could have stayed longer). We were warmly welcomed by everyone we met in St Malo especially coming from Canada on the 400th anniversary of Jacques Cartier's discovery of Quebec.

The hosts at Hotel Elizabeth are wonderful - they speak perfect English and are extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Very clean and reasonably priced. Owners were very helpful and spoke perfect English. The Skippers House is a small annexe just around the corner from the main hotel. The rooms are small and close together, so could be noisy if the hotel is full. We were not disturbed by noise however.

Very good service in this quiet little hotel.
