A low quality 2* hotel but in a good location. There are much better hotels nearby but they will be booked before this one. Perfectly ok for an overnighter but the breakfast is poor with vending machine coffee!!!! - in a French Hotel that is not acceptable. Better breakfasts at F1 hotels for half the price. Wont stay here again

This is a hotel is a beautiful location, but unfortunately it is difficult to find, and when we did find it, we were told that we had no reservation (we were 3rd in the queue of people with the same problem!) I don't know whether this was a one-off, but it didn't start our stay off well. The room we were given was very small (a bed with little room to walk around it) but it was clean and comfortable. Note that this hotel is inside the old walls of the city in St Malo - if you happen to arrive when the ST Vincent gate is shut (or one-way in the wrong direction), you will have to find your way around a maze of very narrow one-way streets to find the hotel! STRONGLY RECOMMEND STOPPING AT TOURIST OFFICE TO GET A MAP BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS - this can be found on the right once you have passed St Vincent's gate on your left.

If you've never been to St Malo before (we hadn't) you need to know that the walled town, where Anne de Bretagne is situated, consists of many very narrow one-way streets. Be prepared - park outside the town or get a proper map with all the street names on. You need to book into the hotel garage in advance.

There was nothing wrong with this hotel other than the fact that the receiptionsit didn't have any record of my reseravation. I did have my confirmation letter though. She could not use the credit card machine so I had to use most of my cash to pay for my stay. The shower was totally unusable and as there was no bath we had great difficulty! Other than that the everything else was ok!!

The rooms are not very large, but we stayed just one night, so they were okay for a short trip. They were clean, the service was okay but they do not talk so much in English.

My wife and I stayed at the Ann de Bretagne in January for 2 nights with another couple for a joint 40th trip. St Malo was very nice, inside the wall, and the hotel is ideally situated. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were quite small but had everything we needed and everything in the room was clean and worked. The breakfast was very basic but was nice and fresh. Overall we were very pleased and found it to be excellent value for money. For a short break we would definately recommend this hotel.

Hotel very well located with regard to parking and provides good value for money. Room was a bit small but clean. Bit of noise from streets but nothing too serious. Stayed three nights and would definitely use again
