Hotel Alexandra - Saint-Malo

A family with older kids stayed in a family room with 4 single beds. Location is excellent only a step away from the water and a short distance to the old town.Restaurant is expensive and better to eat at the old town. We will definitely stay there again! Canadian living in Paris.

Very clean and welcoming but tiny rooms and small beds. Food in restaurant was really good as was the service. A nice hotel but rooms need upgrading. A long walk to the old walled town.

Friendly hotel with superb views across the bay - a 25 minute walk into the walled town, but walking along the huge sandy beach when the tide was out is a pleasure. Huge TV screen in reception made freely available for watching the last two games of the Rugby World Cup!

Stayed here in 2005. Same room in 2006. Wonderful sea views at dawn and sunset. Super accomodation. Very helpful staff. Couldn't ask for a better venue in St Malo.

Very clean room, also very spacious, but near the parking on the ground floor. Fortunately the street was very quiet. Very good the restaurant, but rather expensive. About all it was too expensive the breakfast.

The hotel was entirely satsfactory in every way. A super location with stunning views, too.

This is a nice place to stay, especially if one reserves a seaview room. These are NOT slivers of a view but are panaoramic views of the bay. The tides are dramatic and the beachwalk and beach below outstanding. Its a nice walk (about 20 min) to old St. Malo which is itself quite a remarkable place.
