Well located,very close to the beach, but not many decent restaurants in the immediate area. The food in the hotel restaurant was disappointing - the set dinner menu offered only a fish dish every evening although a la carte was available at extra cost. I don't think the chef knew how to cook potatoes as the main course was served with rice every evening! Excellent staff - particularly on the Reception desk and in the restaurant. Our room had very good beds, but was rather "tired" with lots of stains on the carpet - not what you expect from a "Superior" room. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be a bonus. Very small car park for the size of the hotel - we had to leave our car on the road on several occasions. We would stay there again, but probably wouldn't bother eating there or paying extra for a Superior room.

An excellent, clean, well run hotel, huge room, the parking area is small but parking is available on the local streets. Excellent garden to sit in and enjoy. It is further from the old town that we had thought; to walk there and back once was fun, any more would have been tedious, but you can drive in and park closer to St Malo.Restaurant of average quality.

From the A11 motorway, exit at Vitre/La Gravelle, then take the express way Rennes-St-Malo.
From the A13 motorway, exit at Caen, then take the local road E401 towards Avranches and St-Malo.
After the 1st traffic light and the flyover, turn left at the traffc light. Turn left again at the 3rd traffic light. The hotel lies in the first street on your right after the traffic light, right next to the bakery.
