The breakfast service was a bit dis-organised. On a number of cases the relatively modest choice was not repenished. Not particularly good value. Surprised also there were no tea/coffee facilities.

We received probably the worst room available that is right above the entrance and would have rejected it right away but as we had to reduce our stay from 4 to 2 nights for personal reasons we didn´t complain but left with the impression that the high price charged was definitely not justified for that 3-star type of room. No breakfast was included either but then St. Jean de Luz doesn´t offer a great choice of hotels. Would we stay there again?..maybe not!!

The only negative comment is the attitude of the restaurent staff. We arrived for lunch at 1.37 only to be told the cut off time for orders was 1.30pm. We were offered the choice of 3 entrees and the staff were frosty and the service very poor.

Excellent all round. Pictures did not do the hotel justice, it was stunning. Restaurant was fabulous. Only comment information at the hotel should be in English. Brilliant - would definately go again.
