Beautiful chateau both inside and out ! Isabelle was a most gracious hostess. She has decorated the chateau beautifully. The decor, linens are all first class !! Also, the dinner she provided was excellent. She is very friendly,outgoing and speaks perfect English. She made a point of sitting down with us several times to get to know us. I would highly recommend this chateau. You will NOT be disappointed.

No hot water and only 2 rooms rented. Not friendly or welcoming. Rooms pretty but poor functionality. No hooks or shelving in bathroom. Mostly NO HOT WATER!!!!

If you are looking for 5 star luxury then this is not for you, However if you are looking for a stay within an authentic old world chateau this is perfect. The owner Michel (who only speaks french, i speak none but was able to understand him as he is very animated!)is the heart of the property and has so much passion to make your stay enjoyable, 10/10 for him.) The services within the Chateau are basic but ample, breakfast was within the price and if required you could request an evening meal however with the local restaurants of Saint Emillion (7KM Away) we didn't take him up on this offer. The local Saint Emillion was awesome and the Chateau was ideally situated to make numerous visits. Overall a highly enjoyable relaxing stay, slightly over priced and a must to brush up on the French

Chateau de Courtebotte exceeded our expectations. The host was outstanding. He had great fun encourging me to speak French with him. The chateau is a considerable distance from St- Emilion.

The photos don't do it justice. The chateau is incredible with a lovely setting. My room overlooked the Dordogne. A swan had arrived a few days before I arrived and laid her egg. Michel, the owner, was very helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved the Chateau de Courtebotte! Our host was very charming and welcoming. The chateau is a must for anybody looking for a romantic getaway in the Bordeaux region. We were minutes from St. Emilion -- which I would highly recommend to all visitors. The location was very quiet and beautiful and Michel was the perfect host.
