4-star Hotel Du Glacier enjoys a central location in the famous ski resort of Saas Fee, Switzerland. The hotel offers a wonderful view on to the Alpine landscape, and provides excellent access to the skiing facilities via the Glacier's free ski bus.
Besides the ski slopes, and the Saas Fee sports offer, guests of the Hotel Du Glacier may enjoy the sunny terrace, the 4 star hotel's wellness area, and its lawn for sunbathing in front of it.
The small but superb wellness area with panoramic view of the glacier is a perfect place for hotel guests to unwind, and comprises whirl pool, steam bath, sauna, and sanarium. Two restaurants, an inviting bar, and wireless Internet access throughout the Hotel Du Glacier complete the offer.

Hotel Du Glacier offers 40 modern, comfortable and spacious guest rooms, all with private bathrooms - some of which have towel warmers -, shower, and hairdryer.
Moreover, the accommodation amenities include satellite TV, wireless Internet access, direct dial telephone, mini bar with free soft drinks, writing desk, safe, and balcony with panoramic view. All accommodations have recently been renovated and are very well tended.

Great hotel with nice rooms. The location is perfect, close to many restaurants and shops. An electric shuttle will pick you up from the parking garage and when you checkin your suitcases are dropped in your room. The hotel staff is even better. They'll do anything to make your stay a great experience. Tip: try the restaurant below the hotel. It has GREAT meat and cheese fondue.

From Geneve Airport: a 2-hour and 45 minute drive.
From the airports of Zurich and Milan: a 3.5-hour drive.
From Visp train station: a 30-minute drive.
How to reach Hotel Du Glacier
By car
Please keep in mind that when you travel to Saas-Fee by car you can not use the motorway. You need to pass different passes (Lötschberg, Furka,...).
During Summertime you can drive over the passes without any problems and enjoy the great nature or alternative you can use the car train.
During the Wintertime the passes are not accessible and you have to use the car train.
Note: Some of the navigation systems do not recognize the car trains.
By train
Take a train to Visp. From there, take the post bus directly to Saas-Fee.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 3 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 11 a.m.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Local tax is not included in the price and costs CHF 2,50 per adult person per day, CHF 1,25 per children between 7 and 15 years of age. It is included for children up to 7 years.
Shuttle service from/to the parking garage, as well as to the ski-lifts is included in the price.
Baby cots and extra beds are free of charge.
Children until the age of 11 pay CHF 70.00 per night, while teenagers between 12 and 15 years pay CHF 90.00 per night.
Stay of pets is not included in the price and costs CHF 15,00 per day, plus CHF 40.00 for the final cleaning.
Use of the wellness area is included in the price.
Use of the fitness center of a nearby hotel is not included and costs CHF 18.00 per day.
Use of the wireless Internet access is not included in the price and costs CHF 5.00 per day.
