We stayed in a spacious maisonette room. The second bed might be a little too small for two adults, but good enough for our children. The room was spacious, very clean and seemed newly renovated. The breakfast was adequate and the staff are friendly. The only drawback was that our room was facing the main street and it was noisy until late at night, but it also means the hotel is in a good location close to the center of the town.

We enjoyed our stay. We came in late the first night, so called ahead, and they waited up for us. Very nice, quiet, clean hotel. The room, in August, was a little hot but fans were provided. Breakfast was continental, rolls, fruit, cereal, cold meats, and soft boiled eggs. We did not eat there for dinner but it was available, check the times. Great room for families as it had sleeping room for at least 6. Caution, we were charged extra for kids per night (over the amount reserved for on Venere) but I had noticed this in small print before charging. The shower was a little tight, but nice all-new bathroom. Loved the little town of Rudesheim, Drosselgasse is a blast, take the ferry up to St Goar. Enjoy the many castles up the Rhine.

A lovely little hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Ideally located and adequate breakfast. Close to all amenities, shops and restuarants. Very clean rooms with ample space for our family of 5. Rudesheim is a perfect place to visit and would most definitely stay at this hotel again.

From Wiesbaden A66 motorway, follow the signs for Rüdesheim, taking the B42. Straight on the B42 through Rheingau, along the river Rhein until Rüdesheim. At the first big crossing, turn left, following the Koblenz direction. Altdeutsche Weinstube Hotel is the second house.
By train
From Rüdesheim am Rhein train station: 700 meters.
By airplane
From Frankfurt am Main airport: 60 km.
From Frankfurt Hahn airport: 65 km.
