We stayed in the new section of the hotel, and the room was immaculate. The hotel is very close to the water and in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the dining area was very good, with a wide selection of choices - one of the best I've had!

Had no real idea what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was great and so was the staff. One of the most charming rooms of our trip!

We spent a couple of nights in this hotel and wished we had booked longer. This is traditional hotel with very good food and wine, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Its convenient for the town but a little away from the party animals of the Drosselgasse. If you are in Rudesheim for culture, walking, wine etc thats no bad thing. Forget coments about train noise, while Rudesheim is a train spotters paradise, we certainly weren't aware of any intrusion. We travelled by train and so cannot comment on parking etc. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend the Altdeutsche Weinstube.

Not quite at the water front of Rhine, but very near to cruise line, good breakfast, very friendly staff, can be a bit noisy as there is a bar opposite.

Clean friendly and good value family run hotel in the centre of the town, 5 minutes walk from the boarding piers for the Rhine cruises, and about 10 minutes walk from Ruedesheim railway station. The hotel provides a shuttle service, but we did not use it: call them in advance if you will need it. We also decided to have dinner in the hotel: a good decision, first class local wine served in 0.2l jugs and decent food . The excellent soups deserve particular mention. Recommended.

Hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The actual position of the Hotel was very noisy. very close to the train line and trains run all night long. It is also situated across the road from a pub, and we had the misfortune of having to listen to a few drunken men outside the hotel for over an hour at 0300hrs. As the weather was quite warm we did have the window open. Breaksfast was excellent, and staff more than happy to help.

The pictures don't quite show how lovely this facility is. The hosts were tremendously helpful in getting bicycles for us to rent and ensuring that our stay was exactly what we had hoped for. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our teenagers appreciated the bountiful breakfast that was included.

We stayed in a spacious maisonette room. The second bed might be a little too small for two adults, but good enough for our children. The room was spacious, very clean and seemed newly renovated. The breakfast was adequate and the staff are friendly. The only drawback was that our room was facing the main street and it was noisy until late at night, but it also means the hotel is in a good location close to the center of the town.

We enjoyed our stay. We came in late the first night, so called ahead, and they waited up for us. Very nice, quiet, clean hotel. The room, in August, was a little hot but fans were provided. Breakfast was continental, rolls, fruit, cereal, cold meats, and soft boiled eggs. We did not eat there for dinner but it was available, check the times. Great room for families as it had sleeping room for at least 6. Caution, we were charged extra for kids per night (over the amount reserved for on Venere) but I had noticed this in small print before charging. The shower was a little tight, but nice all-new bathroom. Loved the little town of Rudesheim, Drosselgasse is a blast, take the ferry up to St Goar. Enjoy the many castles up the Rhine.

A lovely little hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Ideally located and adequate breakfast. Close to all amenities, shops and restuarants. Very clean rooms with ample space for our family of 5. Rudesheim is a perfect place to visit and would most definitely stay at this hotel again.
