Hotel Park - Rovinj

If you have an early departure the following day, make sure you check out early the night before. We tried to check out at about 11pm the night before and had difficulty because the person working the desk did not know how to process the bill with 2 different credit cards and consequently we were forced to pay with one.We would have preferred to pay with 2 or to pay with kunens a one credit card but that was not possible. We also asked for a 5am wake-up call since we had to be at the port by 6am with lots of luggage and needed a taxi. The taxi was on time at 5.40 but we never did get our wake up call. Good thing we had our own wake up back up on our cell phone. We also wanted to contest on last item on our bill which we did not agree with but the person at the desk said he could do nothing since it was too late. I give the evening desk a 0 for professionalism and know how.

Expensive for what you get. A great white concrete monster anchored by the bay, but it does its job, full of bus loads of tourists. Immpersonal. But, well located, clean, safe, superb breakfast, uninterested staff, but if you have a car, a great place to stay in Rovinj.

Hotel has been refurbished to a relatively high standard. Although the weather was too cool to enjoy the pool it looked like an excellect facility with plenty of room for sitting out in the sun. Situated at the furthest end of Rovinj from the old town - about 20-25 mins walk.
