A city that made history!Rouen is the ideal city for lovers of history and art and the city’s best spots are easily reached from this charming Seine Maritime lodging. The stunning Gothic architecture of the Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen) make it certainly the most striking landmark of the city. Standing at 151 meters (or 495 feet), this magnificent building has even been the tallest building in the world until as recently as 1880.
The Musée des Beaux Arts features a wide array of French works of art, such as paintings, sculptures and drawings. You might also want to visit the public square where the French heroine Joan of Arc was executed by burning, and the simple, but beautiful, church that was erected in her memory (Église de Saint Jeanne d’Arc). The clock of the Gros Horloge also attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world and features a museum with many testimonies of Rouen’s rich history.

It isn't in the centre of the city(10 minutes walking), but it's very nice and comfortable

It takes about 15-20 minutes to the centre of the city by walk, but I don't think you can find a nice hotel with car park at the centre. I'm quite satisfied with the location and the facilities of the hotel.

Overall, a reasonable hotel with very comfortable beds and it is very quiet at night which is always a plus. The shower in the bathroom was very good. However, a few niggles e.g. the bath towels are minute and quite hard, ditto the hand towels. There is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom and nowhere in the shower to rest shampoo, etc. except a very high shelf - I am only 5ft.2ins! One small wardrobe in the bedroom and no drawers. The room we had only had a shower - no bath. Coffee/tea making equipment in rooms is always welcome but there is none provided. BEWARE there is no lift and we were on the 2nd floor which is a long climb, not recommended after a day's sightseeing!

I very much enjoyed our stay at the Ermitge; our room was very spacious; I loved the artwork displayed around the hotel (including our room). The breakfast buffet was very good - a good selection. The location was very good for walking around the central part of Rouen.

The Ermitage Bouquet hotel has 13 rooms, 3 of which are suites. They are all elegantly decorated and feature several modern amenities, such as an air conditioning system, a mini bar, an LCD color satellite TV with international channels and a hydro massage shower.
