There was a smell of stale smoke in the room. the door to the balcony (room 43) would not open so could not get rid of smell. I reported this to reception and was told the boss would sort it out later when he returned. this was not done as they never fixed the problem and the room was like an oven as it was a hot day. The shower control was stuck on high so had to have a very hot shower. Overall not a pleasant stay at all. Tried to change room but was told hotel was full.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was compact but comfortable and clean - just what we wanted for a one night stay. The hotel is easy to access and leave with its own underground roomy car park (9 euros). The hotel is only a short distance (10 minutes?) from an "old area" with plenty of restaurants which was not far from the cathedral which is stunning.

If you come late and the desk person is away, be prepared for a large German Shepard behind the desk to bark and growl menacingly. It won't attack but you have to wonder. The view of the river and the balcony was very nice. It is a short walk to the important sites. Would definitely return.

Since the hotel was on the main road one could here alot of traffic specially if you have the river facing room. The hotel was centrally located as all the places of interest and restaurants were very close by just a 5 min walk. The staff at reception were friendly and polite, also the hotel had a car park in the basement which was good and costed 9 euros a day. One thing it lacked if only there was a fan as it was very hot in the night to sleep. All i all the hotel was ok.

We stayed in August with our 2 sons aged 9 & 11. The hotel is in walking distance of Sacre Coeur. The metro is at the end of the street.Although our room was bare/basic, it was very clean, as was the bedding. It had no toilet, but this is explained on the website, it was at the end of the corridor & very clean. The hotel manager spoke english & was very helpful. The hotel is situated in a typical inner city area, but in the morning on the walk to Sacre C. there was a brilliant street market with a great atmostphere. This hotel would suit anybody traveling on a tight budget,we enjoyed our stay & we will stay there again when we next go to Paris. If you take a car try to park on the street as the secure parking is 25E per 24hrs. The hotel itself was very quiet but outside Paris is very loud! but you wouldn't expect Paris to be quiet!

Room did seem tired and dated. Shame there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Size was adequate for 2 adults and 2 small children. Great to have additional hallway after entering the bedroom, for reducing noise from the corridor. Secure parking beneath the hotel ( 9 Euros) was excellent. Man at reception was very friendly and helpful. Overall, not excellent value for money, particularly with the parking being extra.

Cheap and cheerful hotel.Opposite the river Seine. Short walk from the main square with restaurants and the cathederal which is spectacular. we were there and it was Bastile day, the road in front of the hotel was closed and a spectacular firework display that evening. Pleasent stay was only there for one night. The room was clean enough could do with modernising. OK for a 2 star hotel.

The hotel was ok, nothing very special. However the location was great. Breakfast was very basic but filled a gap. For the price I felt we got our monies worth. Parking was easy and convinient which cost 9 euros.

Well located for central Rouen and good views of the Seine. Good tourist hotel for the price if you don't require frills. Reception lady couldn't do enough for you but she was on her own so bar never seemed to be open. Family room turned out to be two adjoining rooms so lots of space but beware of balcony doors as they can lock behind you when on the balcony! Thank goodness I was not staying alone as our locked when I slid it closed from outside on the balcony on the 6th floor! Good quality and plentiful continental breakfast and decent coffee. Overall, good value for money and did the trick for our one night stop-over and also had good secure (garage) parking.
