Everything was really good, except that they are not prepared for celiac people. I sent email in advance but nobody knew about celiac desease. The breakfast was good in general except for me.

The room I stayed in was large and very clean. The walls were not well insulated and could hear the elevator and the rude guests next door who could not figure out the key card door lock and slammed the door shut 20-30 times before going downstairs for help (@ 10:30pm). Next morning they were up at 6:00am making more noise... ladies please learn to use your indoor voice, there is no need to be so loud that early in the morning!!!

Rothenburg is a beautiful little town. The hotel is within the old city wall, just a 5 minute walk from the main square. The hotel itself is nice and clean. We booked a superior room and it turn out to be a cosy spacious room, and looked newly renovated. The bathroom was very small though (old buildings have their limitations), but adequate. The room was very clean and the beds were good. The television really needed to be replaced, must have been 20 years old. The breakfast was good, though not flawless and not really generous. Breakfast started at 7, but wasn’t even completely ready at 7.15. The continental site of the breakfast buffet was a bit limited (on the cheese and sweets site), especially for a 4-star rated hotel in Germany. Not bad at all, but I’ve seen much better. At the reception we asked for a good Italian. We got friendly advise, but the restaurant turned out to be closed that day.....mistakes happen....

The location couldn't be better, and the fact that they had parking was just perfect. The hotel looked very cool from the outside, but the inside wasn't anything special. Clean, new, but basically your typical European hotel room.

From the A7 highway: take the Rothenburg exit, and head towards the city center. After the Aral Gas Station, turn immediately left, once you crossed the tracks. Pass through Rödertor Gate, and turn right twice in a row.
