Depending which room you are staying, it can be noisy from the main road. The breakfast is very good and the front desk service is excellent.

This is a beautiful hotel in an old building, actually several old buildings connected, it looked like. It's comfortable and perfectly located, just down the hill from the main Platz, and just up the hill from the southern city gate. It's surrounded by cafes, restaurants, bars and all the wonderful sights and sounds of medieval Rothenburg. Great!

Nice hotel and very close to the main square. great atmosphere and food. I stayed in a single bed room which was quite enough for one person.

This hotel is located at a very convenient place in Rothenburg- at the side of the shoping street and in the 3 min walking distance from the Markt. And this hotel has an interesting history. So I recommend the stay.

Hotel is pretty much right in the middle of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Only a 5 min. walk to the main square. Parking is not free and is located a few blocks away from hotel.

Ugly rooms in a small hotel without public areas. Moreover they "suggest" you to park in their private parking, which you have to pay extra, because there is a kind of possibility that someone scratches your car.. Staff in the hotel is somewhat disquieting and unconfortable.

We loved this hotel. The hotel is situated on a quiet street. It was a little difficult to find, but it is in a nice location. The rooms are much larger than other hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The rooms were very clean, and reasonably priced. We would love to stay here again!!

By car
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is easy to reach by the A6 and A7 motorways, exit at Rothenburg.
Coming from the A7 motorway drive towards Rothenburg town center. At the 1st traffic light continue straight ahead, turn right after the rail road crossing, turn left at the train station, keep going straight ahead to the 2nd traffic light, turn left, drive through the Galgentor gate, at the 1st street make a left turn into Rosengasse, drive straight ahead into the Wenggasse until Untere Schmiedgasse. Turn right, the hotel lies on the right-hand side.
