The rooms in the hotel are spacious and include a small kitchenette. the hotel is located on the sea front close to the town centre with access to lots of bars and restaurants. an enjoyable stay

Excellent rapport qualité prix (hors saison)pour ces chambres/suites. Attention, elles sont très différentes les unes des autres, et on ne peut pas choisir sa vue(mer, place ou rue). Hotel bien situé, où l'on peut se faire des petits repas. Village idéal pour silloner la région. Nice hotel, nice place to visit the area.

The Mar y Sol is located right on the sea front yards from the beach. It is an aparthotel rather than a normal hotel and the rooms are therefore really spacious, we were delighted with our room and wished we had booked a longer stay. There was no breakfast on offer, but within walking distance two excellent cafes catering for breakfast. In all I would say excellent value for the prices we paid.

We went out of season and hence got a great rate for the room - for this reason alone I was hugely impressed. The guy on the desk managed to put 44 cents on my wife's card rather than 44 euro (unfortunately he noticed his error!!) but apart from this very minor quibble I have nothing negative to say.

Nice acommodations at a fairly low price. Town itself is not very interesting to visit as a tourist (at least in the month of May, when I stayed over there). Nearby beach seems just OK, nothing speactacular. Perfect to use as a staying point, from where to then go visit surrounding towns, as Figueres or Cadaques.
