Hotel Marina - Roses

Rooms were clean and well equipped with view of sea. Breakfast was good. Hotel well located to take day trips by car to surrounding area. Were able to find on street parking beside hotel

Thoroughly satisfied once again with service and quality. Excellent price to service value and hotel also keen to constantly improve services e.g. new gym equipment, more varied buffet breakfast. Will definitely come again when I hope the weather will be better!!

I have stayed here before and my comments from June still apply. Great value for money, ideal location and friendly, helpful staff. I hope to return next year.

Great value for money.Ideally located for beach, town, bus stop to Figueras, exploring the beautiful coastline and El Bulli! Nice rooftop terrace, bar, pool area. Helpful, friendly, welcoming staff.

This is the 2nd time I stay in this hotel, and the 2nd time I am happy with my stay. The 2 persons room was very clean and spacious, and although the TV service was not optimal (just a couple channels in French) it was acceptable. The hotel's services such as fitness room, sauna and hammam are a very big plus, but the massaging shower was not well programmed, and couldn't be enjoyed. In the room, light coming from outside was not properly kept out, so I didn't sleep well, but my girlfriend did. The breakfast, which is included in the price of the room, is also a big PLUS. Overall, I am totally satisifed with then relationship between quality and price (60€ for 2 persones for 1 night).

The room was clean aside from the fact that there was hair everywhere. Not balls of it, but just strands of hair all over the place. Unfortunalty that included the bed, which made me wonder about when and if the sheets had been recently cleaned or not. The bed was extremely bumpy, I could feel the springs. Finally, the pictures on the website show a remodeled bathroom. Note to travelers: not all of the bathrooms are remodeled. Not that ours needed to be, it was charming and clean the way it was, but just know that not all the rooms have that brown/beige mosaic tile that they show on the site. Our intent was not to stay in Roses for more than just to sleep, but when we lost our rental car in Barcelona, we ended up taking the train to Figueres and spending our two days in Roses. Though the beach was full of tourists, it was still clean and lovely. The best part of Hotel Marina is its proximity to the beach. Sadly, the hotel knows it and I feel like that's why the hair, bumpy bed etc were lacking in detail. I wish we had more time to take advantage of sunbathing around the 3rd floor rooftop pool, which is a HUGE benefit the hotel has, but we did stretch our value by checking out at noon, letting the front desk hold our bags, go to the beach all day and the use the shower facilities to get cleaned up before leaving Roses.

Really good value for money. We were pleasantly surprised. Right on the seafront, easy to find, handy garage with direct access into the hotel. Friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious, fairly modern and bright. The public areas are well designed and dare I say, trendy. Breakfast was good as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We stopped off at this hotel for one night whilst we explored Rosas for a couple of days. The position of the hotel is excellent (right opposite the beach & near the town centre). We booked a single and quadruple room and both rooms were clean, spacious and quiet with sat.TV. We also used the secure and covered hotel car park which was worth the 7€ charged. Breakfast was included in an already competitive room price and was a buffet style. It was of good quality with helpful staff who were constantly topping up the breakfast serving area. The pool on the roof was open and attractive with ample sunbathing areas, but it was just too cold to use in April! There are plenty of restaurants around and near the hotel, all offering competitive lunchtime and evening menus. We would definitely recommend the Marina Hotel and plan to go back again later in the year.

This hotel is excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious, well located near the center of the town and just in front of the beach. The only negative point i could say is that the breakfast room is quite short and so quick full! but you can take your coffee to the terrasse.
