Hotel Le Roquebrune - Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

My husband was ill when we arrived at Le Roquebrune and Patricia took care of him offering him tea & a very healthy soup. All the ingredients in their meals are grown close to the premises. The view of the mediterranean sea from the restaurant is amazing. I can't remember the gentleman's name who carried our heavy luggage up & down 2 flights of stairs (no elevator), but he is a multi-tasker & deserves mentioning. Everyone is soooo nice and they really do everything to make your stay as comfortable & pleasant as possible. We could have stayed longer.

I would like to say that Patricia,Marina and their staff were so wonderful. They genuinely love what they do and take pride in providing service and assistance to their guests. I can't recommend this lovely establishment enough!! I went to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin to rest and rejuvenate, I certainly did that. For anyone out there considering a stay at Le Roquebrune, sign up now!!

Very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable staff. Beautiful view, excellent breakfast, ample parking, and only a short drive to numerous local attractions. We stayed in the Golfe Bleu room, and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay, however there is no indication of meal and wine prices until time to pay. The meals are fabulous, however we were shocked to have to pay 60 euro EACH for a bowl of boullibase and half a bottle of wine! Our advice... ask price first.

Wonderful B&B

The 2 landladies are very welcoming and have an excellent service mind. The Mediteranean seaview scenery looking from the room is very beautiful. I do not hesitate to recommend this place to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Roquebrune B&B. We only intended to stay for two days but were having such a relaxing time that we extended our stay for 4 days. Patricia, who runs the B$B, was very helpful in assisting us plan our days to ensure that we saw and enjoyed all the sights. Her recommendations were always spot on. The dinners that were prepared for us on two occaisons were outstanding - try the fish soup as it has to be the best in France. I would highy recommend this B$B to all travellers looking for a place to relax for a couple of days or more. This is a fabulous place away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene.

The B&B was located next to a main road but our room was very quiet and had a nice view of the ocean below. (Actually we found out later that the airport bus #730 stop was a few feet away from the B&B and quite convenient for getting back to Nice). We had large backpacks from hiking in the nearby Vesubie Valley for a week and had an interesting time navigating down 2 flights of narrow stairs in the house. However the house is kept very clean and offers gorgeous views from every floor overlooking the ocean. If you can afford $70/person dinner (we were there when 1 Euro was over $1.4), the B&B will make you a very creative/tasty/Michelin rated dinners for you. When we were there, local people were having a party and told us that the B&B used to be a restaurant. Since we cannot afford that kind of luxuary every night, we took a bus to next town (Monaco) next day. Roquebrune has an old castle ruin which offers the best view of the town below (tried to upload a picture & was unsuccessful) and the coast line. If you have a good walking shoes, you might enjoy walking up the winding steps of old town and the view from the castle, to the endless walking path leading to beach and towns nearby. We found Roquebrune Cap-Martin more charming than Monaco.

Very nice location. very good standing. if you want to stay near monaco in a quiet and delightfull place, book this B&B.

Directions are impossible to follow and they do not know surronding area well enough to give good directions. Make sure you know exactly where it is located when going there. The staff are very friendly and pleasant.
