Hotel Alexandra - Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

We order a triple room, but come up to be a double room with a sofabed that we need to open ourselves and the towel set is not ready for triple. Only two sets are in the room, and after requests, one more set deliver to the room for us quickly.

Fantastic location ! Very friendly team at Hotel Alexandra ! Everybody knows that Cote D'Azur is expensive, so under this consideration the hotel is good value for money .

A beautiful area, with hotel across the street from a popular beach. You are within walking distance of the train station, for a quick and inexpensive route into Monte Carlo/Monaco, or other nearby beach cities. The staff is friendly, and very helpful with answering all our questions. They are well supplied with local maps, flyers, etc. The seaview rooms are super where we enjoyed our late afternoon wine and snack. The only problem we had was that we needed to stop and ask for details on how to get to the hotel.

I searched and found this hotel under "Monaco" on Venere.com. The address says "Roqubrune-cap-martin (Monte-Carlo)". Well the hotel is not in Monaco at all, but in France. So what is the problem ??? Transport !!! The train only leaves every second hour at weekends and the last train left at 10.30 pm from Monaco. So if you want to visit and enjoy Monaco, like I wanted to, it is not the right place. The hotel management claimed that the misinformation is done by Venere. Having stated that the hotel itself is nice enough as indicated by my ratings.
