Attractive little hotel just downhill from the famous bridge in the pretty old town but close to the teeming bars, restaurants and tapas joints of the newer quarter

This hotel got rave reviews on the web and it was recomended to me by a friend, I can see why! Its a small family run hotel, and the owners and lovely, friendly, gracious and make you feel at home. The rooms are quaint, very comfortable, and well appointed. Its little things like a welcome cup of tea and biscuits, or coffee. Very obliging, the owners gave me a map, of Ronda and expained what to do and see, especially visit to the Old town first. On there brochure, they say " What identifes this hotel is a sence of peace and comfort, as well the elegance of what is modern in an old town and the personalised treat recived" 100 percent correct, beautiful quaint hotel, with wonderful personalised service. Its a gem.

Our hostess was lovely and helpful, made us feel so welcome. There was even tea and cookies in the morning. She gave us recommendation for the best restaurants. The access, especially for a hill town, was excellent. We drove right in and had a temporary parking place to unload with no chance of 'being clipped' from a passing car. A great stay at a great place. loved it and wished we had booked longer.

Sole is the owner-manager, welcoming, warm and cheerful, full of great information and helpful tips, and went out of her way to accommodate my wishes. I felt more like a house guest than a customer. The location is excellent, with the exception of a lack of parking facilities. I was able to drive up to the front door to unload my luggage on arrival, and reload it on departure. There's free parking in an underground garage a 5-10 minute walk away, and right in the center of Ronda, so it was not inconvenient. I fell in love with Ronda over my 3-day stay and I look forward to returning soon - and will definitely stay at this hotel when I do.

Hotel Ronda exceeded all our expectations. We loved the extremely friendly and helpful Nevis. She went out of her way to buy me Gluten Free biscuits.

Great hotel, great price. If you are driving, call ahead and get instructions. There is a turnoff from the main road that will take you down a (steep, cobblestone) road to the hotel's pull-in for unloading. They offered us a free parking lot in the newer part of town(which we used, easy to find, many spaces, although our rental appeared to have been mildly side-swiped) or a pay one that she had a discount with (undeground, not hard to find but down a seemingly pedestrian street). Both are across the bridge in the newer part of town but still close. Be prepared for driving on roads that were not built for cars. The overseer (owner?) was very friendly, slept at the hotel as well, gave us a key to the outer front door to come in after hours, and suggested we take our morning coffee up to the roof terrace. The location was very close to the main bridge and the town plazas, and right across from the beautiful but abandoned casa de los reyes moros. The room was a good size, although sparce, and had a/c, tv, and the bathroom had a real hair dryer (not one of those flimsy wall ones). Although on a tiny street, there was a lot of motorbike activity after we went to bed. I thought that the price was great for our one night stay, especially for the high season. Breakfast was not provided, but she did provide coffee, fruit and a few cookies. She also had some tour books to flip through in the lobby. No elevator.

My husband and I really liked this hotel. The hotel is impeccably clean and the rooms are comfortable. The owners of the hotel are very kind and eager to help. As I understood, the hotel is run by two sisters. The property has been in their family for decades and the house itself is about 200 hundred years old. The hotel has been renovated about 6 years ago and I have to say that they have done a great job! Although modernized and looking very fresh and new, the house still kept its character and history – they even kept a few black/white old pictures from their family which gives you a sense of home welcoming. The hotel also has a lovely terrace on the roof where one can have a partial view of the city. I do recommend this place and I would definitely go back to Ronda (which is gorgeous) and to this hotel.

The hotel at Ronda was the best of the 5 hotels I stayed at during my trip to Portugal and Spain. I met the ladies that owned (I believe) the hotel and were available to help as required. It felt like home and the guest treatment I received was excellent. They helped me with my lack of Spanish and provided wonderful recommendations on sightseeing and restaurant options which I found extremely useful. I will strongly recommend this hotel to friends that may want to travel to Spain/Ronda as my experience of the town was much more positive as a result of the two ladies I met who managed the hotel. A wonderful experience and should I have the opportunity to return to Ronda I would book a room at the hotel for sure. Muchas gracias

This small boutique hotel is the nicest place I stayed in during my vacation in Andalusia. I wish I could have stayed for more than just one night. I just loved it.

Hotel Ronda is an undiscovered gem! We arrived earlier than expected but Nieves said not to worry and she served us biscuits & tea in the lobby while our room was being finished. Nieves is so friendly and helpful and is the Energizer bunny going from sun up to sundown to assist her guests- she’s a one woman show and never stops. Nieves showed us 2 rooms allowed us to choose our room. We choose one on the 2nd floor which is a bit quieter and had more of a breeze with the window open. Nieves was kind to offer to help us with our luggage to the 2nd floor even those she is older than we. Wifi worked OK, sometimes had it sometimes not. Free use of the hotel's computer and internet in the lobby is a nice feature as well as a free "continental breakfast" of fruits, biscuits, tea and coffee served in lobby at 8:30AM. We inquired about how to hike down into the gorge and Nieves handed us the brochure explaining it. The hotel is perfectly located in the old town and is just a few minutes walk to the bridges, monuments, bodegas, restaurants, etc. We chose to walk from the train station and it’s an easy 20-25 min walk, on mostly flat ground if you go the way of the new bridge past the bull ring. Altho the hotel is located on a pretty steep street down it wasn't difficult to get to. Driving/parking could be a challenge as it is in all the old towns – narrow, steep streets and limited. Be prepared to go up quite a few steps if you book a room on a 2nd floor. Our twin bed room was roomy and comfortable with all the necessities. I have to admit, her towels were the softest and most fluffy I've ever experienced!! This quaint little hotel deserves a lot more than a 1star for sure.

A great little hotel in just the right location. Parking is a bit of a problem but can be solved by a little cruising. There's actually a computer available in the lobby; better than most 3 star places. Breakfast is minimal but the owner is very helpful in all ways.

A small hotel run by a friendly, charming, efficient and competent woman. We knew there was no breakfast but coffee, fruit and biscuits was provided by the owner every morning, The hotel is very well located is the old part of Ronda but away from noisy tourist traffic. The wifi worked better than any of the many hotels we have stayed at in Spain, Don't hesitate about staying here.

Hotel Ronda is right in the city center. The owner is a wonderful lady who is always smiling and ready to help. The location is on a steep hill and drivers need to be aware about that. Parking is on the street free. The lady also offers morning tea/ coffee and fruits and biscuits to enable you to have a good start free. She has a computer free to use. Its a fuss free place

The hotel was located in a fantastic spot and the staff were excellent. Our car broke down on a one way street and they sorted everything out. If you want a relaxing stay with a wonderful family, I would definitely recommend Hotel Ronda. Unsurpassed on our travels through Andalucia!

I traveled with my 67 years old Mother and stayed this hotel just one night... I believe the hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed. It is regrettably for us to stay just one night. I hope to stay longer or live in. This warm family-run hotel is where we could really relax. The owner is very helpful, gentle and always smiling. She served us teas cookies and fruits for breakfast. Room is so clean and cozy that we never believe the “star rating” of the hotels. If this one is 1 star, all other hotels are less. Good and quit location in the old town, closed to historical place. Only few minutes walk and closing the bridge to town centre. If you arrived train or bus station with heavy luggage, you are better to take taxi. They are not close and there are some slopes on the way.
