Hotel Major - Ronchi dei Legionari

I stayed at the hotel because I had an early flight and it was convenient to the airport. My room was very clean and comfortable, but the outside noise from the highway was very noticeable. But earplugs solved that problem. The biggest problem was the vile new-carpet/new-building smell in the room. It was so strong needed to keep the window open all night to keep it down to a bearable level. For anyone with a chemical sensitivity it would have been unacceptable. For me it was just a minor annoyance. The staff were very nice, the breakfast was very good, and the free WiFi worked perfectly.

Nice, new and well furnished rooms,decent breakfast, perfect location alongside the highway. Quite a good place for 1-2 days rest. I would recommend it to all travelers as a perfect mid-point at that part of the highway within the triangle Italy-Slovenia-Croatia.

Pretty good location just next to the highway toll gate (and a commercial centre). a new building accommodates this well furnished hotel. easy access to trieste, palmanova, grado. the redipuglia monument is within a 5 minutes drive. lack of restaurant. very reasonable price. this hotel is definitely worth for a 2-3 days stay.
