No services at all. TV set didn't work; it was a full ethernet system potentially very good... but simply it didn't work. Internet was very expensive (10 euro for 24h or 15 euro for 10 hours, based on login/logout). Water in the bathroom got out very slowly. No hooks in the bathroom for the towels.

Very well situated for the Termini Station. Somewhat old fashioned hotel, but OK for the money. Breakfast good, helpful staff. Air conditioning not working. Make much of the movies in the rooms, but choice was poor and each was 11 euros so not used.

The location of this hotel close to the Termini is good for arrival and departure by train also close to the bus station if you want to use the Buses in Rome. The reception staff were surly she had just had to deal with a difficult guest and her attitude carried over when dealing with me. There was no WELCOME.The room was clean but lacking in any basic comfort no tea or coffee tissues or visitor info there was not visitor info in the hotel at all. It took 24 hours to rectify a problem with the lights and the safe did not work. The bathroom was very tiny I had to climb over the bide to get in and out of the shower. The beakfast was very basic and exactly the same every moring tea and coffee usually cold.I would not recommend this hotel other than for it's location. I have used Venere.com a number of times and have always been pleased but I was disappointed with this hotel given it was 4*

Some of the front desk staff seemed irratated by our asking for information. But the primary problem was that you could not adjust the room A/C and it was set at a level that was not at all comfortable. We slept every night with the windows open. Others were complaining about the same problem. In addition, the shower was so small that I was continually hitting the shower control and changing the volume and water temperature unintentionally. Even the wait staff in the hotel restaurant seemed to be irratated by your very presence. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very noisy until 2-3 A.M. (seems to be they do working the room repair)and the window is not double glass layer window. Ask for changing the room the operator refuse and give us the reason that other rooms more noisy than that! When we ask for suggestion for the restaurant, the answer is "look by yourself!" I think it's not a good answer. Internet is not free it cost minimum 10 euros per day. There is the option to acess e-mail via television option but they did not tell us before, finally it cost 7 euros! Wow surprise! Not recommend this hotel!!!!!! Around this area many hotel over 100 to be choose!

Hotel was ok but not exactly a 4 star given the size of the room. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great especially because it was close to the termini and the tour bus. If you stay at the Piram you wont be disappointed, but you will feel cramped with the small space in the room.

The reception staff were friendly but not efficient. Though I Prpaid my bill in October the staff denied repeatedly that this had happened and charged my credit card a second time. When they eventually decided to check they realisers my bill had been prepaid. I am not that confident that they will refund the second charge and expect further hassle on this matter

Good welcoming, clean rooms, perfect localisation near termini (trains and metros accessibility). The only bad point I would mention is the quietness: you have to know that there is live music every day up to midnight and that the sound is relatively hight (we were exactly above the room of live music) and might prevent you to sleep before midnight. Excepted this we slept well and matrtress were good.

This hotel is perfectly located just one block from bus/metro/train terminal. Easy to find and clean safe location. Counter staff were very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is cold food only but very good selection. Internet access is not the best but available (7E per 2 hour). No restaurant at hotel but many choices within couple blocks.

My husband an I stayed in Rome over the weekend and found Piram hotel to be an excellent choice. Room was well furnished and well equiped, all new, good beds and shower. Very convenient location near the Termini station. Staff was helful to advise us where to go and what to see. We both loved our stay there and would recommend it to others. Only thing to improve is breakfast that is all sweets and has no cheese. But still its worth to stay in this hotel with the very reasonable pricing.

We had a very pleasant experience with this hotel. We stayed here after a cruise. The location was excellent for both our arrival from Civitavecchia and for our departure to LDV Airport. The location was also excellent for touring the city. The staff (especially Adreana) were just super! They were very helpful with directions, maps, tours & special values for tourists. I would definitely stay here again.

I called the hotel before our departure to make sure the reservation was all right. I was pleasantly surprised as the receptionist, Susanna spoke fluent Hungarian, and knew my name even before I introduced myself. She was very helpful, informative and welcoming. Upon arrival and during the whole stay we found the same friendliness of the other members of the international staff. The room was cleaned every day. It was spacious, furnished with good taste and so was the bathroom. The location was very good. We stayed four nights for I recommend the hotel to anyone who want a pleasant stay for reasonable expense.

The Welcome Piram Hotel was a great spot to stay for our visit to Rome. It's 3 minutes walk to Termini station and there are also shops, restaurants, piazzas etc. to explore close by as well. The room was clean, tidy and spacious enough for my sister and I. It's worth knowing however that you only get one room key and the in-room internet was not working while we were there. The breakfast is a good selection of foods too although if you are after a real taste sensation, you may want to skip and try a local cafe.

The hotel is well situated - just near Termini (5 min. by foot), and between 2 subway stations - it is very good if you are going to travel much, as we did. Our room was quiet, the window looked at inner yard. The rooms are rather spacious, what can be hardly said about the bathroom. The bathroom is very small - and there were not any tower racks! But it is the only weak point. Breakfast menu is typically Italian - sweet cakes and yuogurt, no cheese or smth. else. The staff is very friendly, they even have the girl, Nona, speaking Russian - it was great! On the whole we were contented by this hotel.

Buena situación, junto a Termini.

This was an excellent hotel. The receptionists were very helpful with local information – eg where to buy rolls, where to cash travellers cheques etc. The only minor criticism is that the breakfast menu was rather plain and unvaried for the price paid, and the fruit juices were over sweet.

Our holiday had an unfortunate ending. We had booked a taxi through hotel reception the evening before we left, to take us to the airport. What the hotel staff did not tell us was that there was a major National protest taking place on the morning of our departure [700,000 people], starting right beside the hotel[at the Statione Centrale].The hotel told us nothing about this, with the result that we missed our flight home[ cost for 3 people €870]. The hotel staff should have known about this and told us.

I booked prepaid non refundable- the avarage price in rome was 60 euro/night at that time- I paid 48 euro/night. The catch- the rooms are not in the hotel, but in boarding-house - 3 blocks away from the hotel. The area is very bad- full of indians- exactly there- 2 blocks away in any direction- the area is normal. The rooms are very small(even by the eruopean standards), but clean. They cleaned them every day. The breakfast was good- lots of food, but only sweet things. I will think about before I go there, but maybe I will- the price/quality is good.

This hotel was very clean and in an excellent location. Be careful with the internet they offer in your room - they say when you log on it is 7 euro for 24 hours, however when we checked out, they tried to charge us 7 euro for every 2 hours, even though we had not used that much. Otherwise a very good hotel and highly recommended.

The location was very good for travel by train and generally getting around on foot to various tourist sites. We had a family room in 6th floor however, the old elevator rarely worked and so we and many others ended walking up and down most of the time. The staff were absolutely no help, and basically had the view that this should just be accepted as normal. The TV reception in the room was dismal, really not watchable (Olympics were on). Staff at front desk were very porly trained and we found a few of them quite rude and unhelpful. After Rome we travelled South, and when it was time to come back to Rome, we chose another nearby hotel, which was cheaper and MUCH better.

Perfect location if you want to be near the train station. We were passing through Rome so this was a necessity. The concierge at this hotel was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size (there were 4 of us) with a double bed and 2 pull outs. Close to shops, a good restaurant. I'd stay there again. It has an old fashioned lift which is quite small but interesting!

The hotel location is excellent. It's near the Termini train station where public transportation is readily available. The room is small, but livable. Sound proof is poor. You can hear all the noises outside your door. The breakfast is not appealing. The biggest disappointment is the untrue advertizement about free internet connection. Not only there's no free internet, there is no internet at all.

The hotel is split into two buildings. We were in the secondary building without the reception area. It was newly renovated and nicely decorated, with a nice marble bathroom. Rooms in Rome tend to be smaller than North American standards, but the cleanliness and central location were nice. Also very close to the Termini so if you are doing any day trips or traveling within Italy, or simply using the train to get to and from the air port it is not too far to walk with your bags.

Hotel front desk staff were great and happy to assist in oure itinery planning. The hotel is very close to the Coleseum and ruins. Room itself was great and bathroom facilities nice enough. In-house movies were available in English. Only weird thing was the cleaner seem to be playing shanangins with chocolates in our mini-bar, nothing that we bothered contesting or that broke the bank.

The hotel arranged a transfer for us from the airport which was great(45Euro). Fantastic location right near the bus and train terminal. We had an attic room in an adjacent building which was huge and extremely quiet, queen bed and 2 singles. The reception staff were ever so helpful and delight in telling the sites to see and the best way to see them. They also give you a map that have all the sites on it. We found the location was just fantastic as you were so close to everything. We chose to do the sites on the hop on hop off bus which enabled us to get around the majority of the sites in 2 FULL days. Just a hint if visitng Vatican City, walk up towards the entrance and look for people offering guided tours. These tours are inexpensive and enable you to skip the enormous lines ( 2-3hours) and are extremely informative. We did the same thing at the Colessium and would never have learn't as much without it.

Employees were very nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was well prepared and had plenty of food. The noise associated with the morning breakfast was very loud considering the closeness of our room to the breakfast area. We had great difficulty sleeping after 0730. Could not find anyone to make us a drink at the Bar. We believe the bar area as shown on the Web Page was mostly for show. An actual bar tender was not available for all three days of our stay. The cost of the room was very reasonable for Rome and the closeness of the train/bus station was a plus. We would not return to the property due to the lack of night life and that the hotel lies on a back street which produced an uneasy feeling at night when walking around the area.

Rome is expensive these days in US dollars so finding something nice under 160Euros must be hard. The hotel room was in another building next door and up a few floors, but nice and renovated and very clean and stylish. Hotel Welcome is located next to the station Roma Termini, so it is very simple to reach it by train. It is in a good position for buses and underground. Rooms are comfortable, cleaned and wide. The written directions to the hotel from the train station are wrong. After the final turn it is several blocks to the hotel, not 50 meters as stated. This was a terrific hotel and I would recommend it for value and size (we had a quad room which was great). Good access to metro and buses at the train station. If you don't mind a little walking you can easily get to any attraction in Rome from here.

After checking in, we were informed that our room was two doors down in an unmarked and unstaffed office/apartment building. Our room was on the 6th floor there were no phones available for our use. There was also no water pressure and sometimes no water. The room was noisy from adjacent businesses and very noisy neighbors. The breakfast was horrible and the space was too small for the number of guests at the hotel. We complained to hotel staff, but management refused to speak with us and the front desk staff refused to move our room or help with the problems encountered.

This hotel gives you what you pay for: a clean room (with breakfast) next to the Termini. They don't give anything extra, but you don't pay for anything extra. The rooms are spacious, hot and good-pressured water, and the beds are nice and firm. Good value.

When we arrived we booked a suite for 4 people and what we got were two small rooms that were freezing and no hot water pressure to make use of the jacuzzi bath. Luckily when we complained we were promptly transferred to an apartment next door which looked like the photos in the brochure. Much more spacious and actually warm. The was still a shortage of hot water for 4 people but was a nice apartment. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you are used to 4 star accommodation!

Great location and the rooms were perfect. I noticed that it looked like they were renovating rooms on other floors, so I'm betting we got one that was recently renovated. The only concern we had was noise from the street - the windows weren't thick enough to block that out. But we needed to stay near the Termini so it was to be expected that it was a bit loud.
