I have read previous reviews and agree with the comments about Paul - he is very helpful. He holds the place together -so avoid Mondays when he is not at work! Apart from that, it is just a place to sleep. A fellow guest remarked that it seemed to be run by a small group of students. It seems very under-staffed and run on the cheap. A good location for the Vatican but not so good if you are more interested in the Forum area, for example. It's OK if you don't expect too much.

First time to Rome. The Vatican Garden Inn was extremely charming! Our quad room was spacious, immaculate, and well decorated. (Not to mention the jacuzzi tub!) Staff was eager to please. Paul, the young man to cleans speaks perfect English and was very helpful! We thought the breakfast in the garden was delightful. Only one word of warning; Staff leaves at midnight, so if you have a late arriving flight you will have to make prior arrangements with them.

We spent a very nice stay. The hotel was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and served outside on a lovely terrasse. The staff was charming. Our room was not very big, but very well decorated and calm. The location of the hotel was perfect, close from the underground (5 min walk), nice restaurants and shops. I'd love to go back to Rome and stay in this hotel again.

Talk about convenience! Walk to the Vatican even though the hotel is off the beaten path. No dining on site, except for breakfast, but that was not unexpected in that there were only 6 rooms. Great room, decorated beautifully.

A beautiful place. Employees make their possible to be sympatic. A conseiller !!!

Very welcoming. On arrival and departure drinks and pastries were offered. We arrived around 1000 and left around 1830. Rooms and service were first rate!

A very nice little B&B. Service and cleanliness were of an excellent standard, and the staff/manager were friendly and helpful. It was literally 100 metres from the Vatican Museum and the Castle D'Sant Angelo, both worth a visit. The only slightly negative point was the rooms may be a little on the small side for some guests' taste but we found them to be OK for our requirements. Rustique Pizza, just a couple of streets away served the best pizza in Rome! We would stay here again and would recommend the hotel as suitable for couples rather than families.
