The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the Train Station and the Coliseum. The double room is a bit small but accommodating to your every need. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a very great location because is in the middle of many important places. The room has enough space for a couple but not too much. The staff competence is good but not excellent.

A clean, well planned and quiet hotel (with the window closed). On the downside was that there was no ventilation in the room, and it was impossible to sleep with the window open due to the traffic.

this hotel is depressing to me, all grey subdued colors, the terrace is loud and depressing. I stayed in the single room and the bathroom sink was slow/clogged, the shower drain was slow/clogged, the shower head was messed up so it was like you were swimming at the end of your shower water EVERYWHERE like a pool. The best thing about this hotel was the sweetest housekeeping lady. The hotel in general is very noisy bc it's on a very noisy street. I don't think it's worth the money at least for the single room. There are much nicer pension's for half the price. The location is OK, but a bit of a hike to the center of town. The location wasn't necessarily the problem the problem that I had was really the relationshiop between price/quality of the room.

Excellent hotel which deserves the best recommendations. Is in the center of Rome. Any known places (beginning from historical sights and finishing shops) - from 2 till 20 minutes on foot. Up to the nearest station of the underground - one minute. Station Termini - in 7-10 minutes on foot. Excellent modern design of rooms, very rare for Rome. In a small room there is a huge, very convenient bed, not single, as in other hotels of the same price category in Rome. The plasma TV on a wall, a huge mirror, the safe. Rooms has the wrong form that is very good for such small area, are not present impression of small space. I was in two single numbers - 204 and 205, both have very much liked. To the Roman measures a parity the price/quality - excellent! When I am next in Rome it will be my first choice for accommodation.

The Opera Hotel is in a fantastic location, 20 minutes walk away from all major sites, and 40 minutes walk away from the Vatican. There are supermarkets and restaurants within 1-10 minutes walk away if you need to purchase supplies and snacks, and great breakfast places within the area (the hotel continental breakfast may not be enought to sustain you for a long day of walking and site-seeing.) The staff were friendly, knowledgable, and very welcoming. The rooms, while slightly small, were bright, well furnished, very comfortable, with a superb, comfortable bed and large, fluffy bathroom towels. For the price, location, level of service and facilities, and star-rate, I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to other visitors. Rome is the "Queen of Cities" and the Opera Hotel helped to make my stay even more enjoyable.

What you see is what you get. This is a very nice boutique hotel. The location was perfect. The hotel is close enough to the train station to walk, 2 blocks from the metro, and convenient to Rome's sights. We walked everywhere with no issues. The hotel is on a busy street, but noise was never an issue, the only street traffic you can hear from the room is the occasional siren. The breakfast terrace was very lovely. The breakfast served was a typical Italian breakfast, but was more than adequate. Our only complaint was that there was not really a blanket on the bed, so we got a bit chilly at night.

this was a lovely property - the rooms looked recently renovated and were decorated with modern furniture. The bathroom was large, especially by European standards. This hotel is on a busy street, but it was as quiet as I would expect and we couldn't hear anything in neighbouring rooms (unlike some other hotels we stayed at). Overall a really nice hotel.

The room I stayed in had a gorgeous bathroom, a flatscreen TV, modern fixtures and lovely sheets. Nice view. Very, very clean and fresh. Large, luxe towels and bathroom amenities. The room was spacious. The hotel's panoramic terrace for breakfast was a real treat. Great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel, breakfast in your room was a real treat! Our room was quiet only if we closed the window, which we were happy to do as it was winter. We marked low on availability of rooms as we had specifically insisted on a room with a bath tub but on arrival was told they only had one room with a bath tub and it had already gone to someone else! However, on expressing our displeasure on this issue they were happy to give us a discount! DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE ROBBED BY TAXI DRIVERS! We were charged €30 from the Terminii to the hotel only to find it was an easy 10 minute walk away, which we did on the day of our departure. Well situated for the underground and majority of tourist attractions.

The hotel met all our needs and was as we expected it to be. It was new, very clean, modern and airy. Beatuiful decor and crisp white bed linen. Very good value for money and good location. We would definitely recommend it. Breakfast room wasn't available but breakfast was delivered to your room every morning at the time specified (which worked out better). Staff were very helpful and their English was excellent.

The Opera Hotel is conveniently located a short walk from a Metro station and within walking distance of many cultural sites. If your luggage rolls, and you don't mind a bit of a hike, you can walk to Stazione Termini, the main train station in Rome. There you can catch an express train to Leonardo da Vinci airport. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had very contemporary furnishings. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We found the hotel staff extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel's decor and level of finish was of a very high standard and it's location puts it in comfortable walking distance of many of the major imperial sites. When we are next in Rome it will be our first choice for accommodation. Once the roof top terrace is complete next year it will be even better as the only real thing we felt was lacking was a bar. Well done Opera and best wishes for the future.

This hotel far exceded expectations, 15-20 mins walk to trevi fountain, with lots of things to do and see on the way.The rooms are brand new, and the location and quality of rooms make this property excellent value for money.I would recomened this property to anyone, it's modern, comfortable, clean and central and the included breakfast is a good start to the day, and is served to your room. The three star rating does not do this property justice! This is an exellent place to stay.

My experience at this hotel was completely awful. It was extremely difficult to find. No signage and not "700 meters" from Termini as stated. Once you do reach it, you have to navigate steep stairs to reach an unimpressive lobby and front desk. Room 204 was completely unacceptable. Only one working small bedlamp in the entire room and the safe did not work. Worst of all was the bathroom. The pictures on the website made it seem like there was an enclosed tub or at least a shower curtain. Not so. There was a shower head pretty much over the toilet so the entire bathroom became immersed in water with every shower. When asked to switch rooms, I was told they were "working on it". Yup, still working on it up until my check out. This was a two star experience and you are better off at a hostel. If you want a great hotel, stay at the Aleph in Rome. It is pricey, but I was wishing I had just paid that money to ensure a truly delightful stay in Rome. It wasn't worth the headache.

A modern, quiet, clean hotel on Via Nazionale with helpful staff. One minor drawback: they have almost no public space in the building, so if you have an evening flight out of Rome, you luggage is stored in the reception under a table and there's no where to sit a wait. We had a lovely stay here and I'll reuse this hotel.

Very nice little hotel. The room was a bit small but really well decorated : plasma TV on the wall, big looking glass near the bed and a perfect mattress ! There is no dining room for the breakfast, so it is served in your bed (really cool) and for the gourmand like me, there's Nutella :) The crew was really kind and smiling. The hotel is situated in the heart of Rome, however there's noting really fun is the street of the hotel. But after 5 minutes walk, you reach the famous places to see.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. It is brand new, we were one of the first guests. The location of the hotel is excellent. It takes only about 10 minutes to the Colloseum and around 5 minutes to the main station. The rooms were always pretty clean. The service was very good and the staff is very friendly. Although it is located at a big road, the noise is not a problem because the windows are also pretty good. By Roman standards a very nice hotel, excellent service and all in all without any exceptions recommendable.
